The clinic was relatively decent in size, neither too large nor too small.
Inside the clinic, there were fewer medical staff present, as they were trained directly by Dai Shinto. It wasn't a busy day; there were no emergencies, so the staff could only attend to a few patients.
Some were busy cleaning and organizing the clinic from top to bottom. Dai Shinto, meanwhile, sat in his office, reviewing scrolls detailing the types of injuries and illnesses the patients were experiencing.
The staff was diligently updating these records, demonstrating their expertise in their medical field.
While reading a scroll, Dai Shinto's assistant entered the room, holding another scroll. Dai Shinto sensed its importance.
"Good morning, Master Dai. This has been sent to you urgently," the assistant said respectfully, bowing as he approached.
As Dai Shinto set aside the first scroll at the right side of the table and began reading the one handed to him.
The message was straightforward: the city lord needed help for his ailing son, whose fever persisted. The lord promised a hefty reward for Dai Shinto's expertise, noting that he was the only divine doctor capable of healing any ailment.
Without showing much reaction, Dai Shinto closed the scroll and stood up, adjusting his robes.
"Bring me the listed herbs and elixirs immediately. I'm going to the city lord's residence," he instructed. The assistant nodded and left the room, while Dai Shinto went to a cabinet to gather medical supplies and put it inside the bag.

.[With Shen Jing.......]
Back at the estates, Shen Jing sat comfortably on the couch in the living room. He was learning to sew an embroidery design and had developed an interest in making clothes.
For now, he was focused on the basics, practicing his skills by embroidering a handkerchief.
He wanted to gift his husband something special and thought a handkerchief would be a lovely idea. Although he had no prior sewing experience, he was making progress with his needlework and gradually improving his skills.
When Shen Jing accidentally pricked his finger with the needle while sewing a white handkerchief, causing a small bleed. A servant quickly brought an aid kit to tend to his injury, wrapping his finger with care.
The aid kit was Dai Shinto's idea, a thoughtful provision for any injuries that might occur on the estate, no matter how minor.
And Shen Jing admired his husband's resourcefulness but felt a twinge of self-doubt. Unlike Dai Shinto, a skilled divine doctor, he often felt idle, merely learning from Steward Chen Mingze.
Yet, as he looked at the handkerchief, a sense of achievement began to wash over him. Though it wasn't perfect, to Shen Jing, it held a certain beauty, a small testament to his efforts.
