Early night in the morning, Tóngbì City was alive with activity as the annual Tournament of Fate began. Young and old, men and women, Cultivators soared through the sky on swords enchanted with flight.

They landed gracefully in the designated area outside the stadium, eager for the competition to start. Everyone was inside the stadium, including Dai Shinto, his male-wife Shen Jing, and their son Shen Rin.

They sat together at the podium with other high-ranking aristocrats who had been invited but lacked the same level of renown as Dai Shinto and Sect Leader.

The excessive noise of the chatter was overwhelming, prompting Dai Shinto to cast a soundproof spell to shield Shen Rin's ears. Orpheus, not moving a single feather, remained perfectly still.

It was his first time seeing other bird beasts alongside their masters, and he stayed seated on Dai Shinto's chair, observing the scene, the tournament hadn't started yet.

The ceremony began, a moment to pay respect and honor the founders of Tóngbì City. It lasted a few minutes before the battle commenced.

The male announcer, with the loudest voice in the stadium, energized the crowd, who cheered in excitement as the competitors, pumped up and ready, prepared to showcase their talents and win the tournament.

As the announcer explained a few rules to the participants, Dai Shinto scanned the arena. His gaze fell on Mo Ran Shao, known for his cunning, cleverness, and confidence, and Luo Douzhang, reserved, analytical, and composed.

The two young men locked eyes from opposite sides of the stadium, silently glaring at each other. Dai Shinto muttered under his breath, "They're clearly not going to back down."

He wondered who would emerge victorious between the two. Orpheus, the crow, cawed in agreement.

Then Dai Shinto's mind wandered back to the game of Xiangqi they had played at the restaurant. He had left with his family before the game was finished.

Who Has Won The Xiangqi Game?

He didn't know and could only question. Meanwhile, Shen Jing continued to enjoy his friendship with Lady Gu Xianze, who adored little Shen Rin.

Though Lady Gu Xianze had no children of her own, she couldn't help but notice something odd-Shen Rin's golden eyes.

They were unlike the eyes of either Shen Jing or Dai Shinto, which raised a brow in curiosity. But Lady Gu Xianze, keeping her focus on the tournament, pushed the thought aside.

The excitement filled the air as the Tournament of Fate began. Two competitors strode confidently up the stairs toward the battle ring, their presence commanding attention.

The announcer called out their names, making a grand introduction laced with a hint of charm.

[A Few Hours Has Passed]

The battles were intense, with many fighters being eliminated while others advanced to the next round.

Mo Ran Shao and Luo Douzhang fought fiercely against their opponents, each displaying unique abilities and exceptional martial prowess and spell using.

However, something caught Dai Shinto's attention.

His brows furrowed in concentration, and he blinked in surprise when he saw a young man step forward, his name announced as Liu Fù Jiajun, a former member of the Lan Family.
