The next morning, Eric made the decision that was weighing on his heart. He knew that Ivory needed stability and education to thrive in this world, and Luminara could provide that. He turned to the boy; his expression serious but filled with kindness. "Ivory, I think it's time for you to go to school. You've got a brilliant mind, and there's so much you could learn here."

Ivory's eyes widened with surprise. School? He had never thought that he would be able to go to school with how much the schools fee and the cost of school supply were, but the thought of leaving the adventure behind was bittersweet. Yet, he knew Eric was right. He nodded solemnly, understanding the gravity of the decision.

"But what about our quest?" Ivory asked, his voice filled with hope.

Eric put a comforting hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry, Ivory. This is just a temporary detour. We'll stay here in Luminara until Angel is healed, and you've had a chance to learn and grow. School will make you even stronger, and who knows what secrets you'll uncover in the libraries here."

Axel nodded in agreement, his gold eyes gleaming with understanding. "Aye, the schools here are renowned for their knowledge of magic and the arcane. You'll learn much that will aid us on our future adventures."

Ivory looked down at his hands, feeling the weight of the decision. "What about you guys? Will you wait for me?"

Axel ruffled his hair, a show of affection from the stoic orc. "Of course, we will. We're a family, and we stick together."

The decision was made, Eric set out to find the school for Ivory. He inquired around the bustling town square, where the smell of freshly baked bread and the chatter of the townsfolk filled the air. His heart swelled with pride as he watched Ivory interact with the children playing nearby, his bow slung over his shoulder and the griffon cub, Windsheer, perched on his arm. The boy had come so far from the shy, lost soul they had found in the ruins of his village.

After speaking with the town's wise old sage, Eric discovered the "School of the moonlight," an academy renowned for its teachings in both arcane and natural magic. It was the perfect place for Ivory to hone his skills and discover his true potential. With a heavy heart, Eric knew that this was the right path for the child he had come to see as his.

The group approached the school, its ivory towers piercing the night sky, bathed in a soft, sun light glow. The headmaster, an elf named Kolvar Trawynn, greeted them at the gates. His eyes lit up when she saw Angel and Ava, recognizing the mythical rank and the powerful bond between them.

"Ah, you've found yourself quite the treasures," Kolvar said, his gaze lingering on the celestial welkin deer and the dreamweaver spider. "Your timing is excellent. We have an opening in our advanced taming of monsters' class. Ivory will learn much here."

The headmaster led them through the school's grand hallways, the walls lined with tapestries depicting scenes of mythical battles and legendary heroes. Ivory's eyes grew wide with wonder as they passed students practicing spells, showing off their tamed monsters and speaking in languages he had never heard. The air was thick with the scent of ink and parchment, and the faint hum of magic was ever-present.

When they reached the classroom for taming monsters, Eric felt a pang of sadness. This was where he would leave Ivory, at least for a while. He knew the boy would be in good hands, but it was hard to let go of the bond they had formed. Ivory looked back at him, a question in his gold eyes, but Eric just offered a reassuring smile.

The class was a mix of students from various races, all equally fascinated by the unusual sight of a half-elf, half-dragon and a griffon cub. The room was filled with a cacophony of chirps, growls, and whispers as the students tended to their monster pets. Kolvar introduced Ivory to the class, and the students eagerly made room for him.
