His parents,new problem

"Be the one you show or show the one you are" I repeatedly said this sentence to my self like I want to stick it in my mind

Today we gonna meet Jack's parent, they wanna meet me as the mother of their son's child, I'm so nervous however I saw them before but this time is different

They came to LA last night and now they stay in hotel. I'm so nervous because their reaction could be anything, what if they don't accept Ariel, "they gonna accept it. Believe me y/n" I think I said my thought out loud because Jack answer me and hold my hand tight while he drives toward restaurant, where we gonna meet his parents, with his other hand

Ariel's sleeping, I just wish to be him and never raised, children world is so nice they have nothing to worry and I love that

"We're here" Jack park the car and we hop out, Jack hold my hand "look in my eyes please " I stare at his eyes "no matter what happen and no matter what they gonna say, I'm just by your side and never let you or Ariel go" I nod and hug him so tight , he slowly wakes Ariel and we enter the restaurant with Ariel's hand in mine

We find his parents and step toward them, right now I just can hear my heartbeats nothing else , Jack's mother sees us and wave at me and Jack, Ariel is so short so I doubt if they notice him

"hi dad" Jack hug his dad and after that his mother,after we exchange hugs his mother speaks "y/n , long time no see, where have you been?" "Oh just busy with stuff " we sit on our chairs and Jack put Ariel on booster seat that offer him one "oh who's this young man?" His mother says to Ariel and smile at him, Jack speaks "it's a long story we'll told you later lets just order" they both nod and we start speaking while Jack order our foods

"so you're an architect now?" David asks me "yes, I think so" "and you should believe she's so busy with her work" Jack added, "so it's hard for you two, Jack's busy with his job and you're too, so how you stay in a relationship?" His dad asked "yeah I know but when it's about love you'll find a way" Jack said

In the middle of our food his dad asks "how did you find each other because I remember after you broke up and lost each other" they actually remember me because they were very positive about my relationship with Jack , they thought I changed Jack in a good way however they don't know know no one could change the other people but they can be the reason of a person change in a good way

I look at Ariel who is playing with his food and talk to them , I whisper in his ear "who you're talking with?" "Oh mama this is mr meat, he's so gentle and friendly, he's not nagging or shouting because I told him it's a bad thing" I smile "oh nice to meet you mr meat" then I notice everyone are looking at us

I cough because of this awkward situation, Jack holds my hand under the table and take a deep breath, I know he gonna start
"Mom , dad, actually we gonna tell you something" they both look at us with confusing eyes "well this little kid , I mean Ariel is y/n's son" Jack stopped "oh darling whose his father, but don't tell me he left you and his son because he's a totally jerk if he did it" his mother says

I look down and again silence, I doubt if this silence continues more than 2 seconds but that was a year for me, imagine, if you thinking every second of a year without even breaking, that's what I feel

"Actually he's mine" Jack continue and hold my hand tighter, his parents stare at their food without any emotions then his mother start laughing "it's not a good joke Jack" Jack stare at her mother sternly then she stop laughing, "Jack I understand you love y/n but it doesn't mean you should be responsible of her bastard son"

oh that hurts a lot , I feel my tears start to fall but I wipe them and just look down , how could I be mad at them because they're parents of course they'll get worry about their only son

"Stop talking about my son like that" Jack almost yell , Ariel hold my arm and I could say he's scared, "oh Ariel, prince why you won't eat mr meat?" Everyone stay at silence "why daddy is mad?" "He's not, he just speak louder because he think we can't hear him but he's wrong" he nods and continue eat his food, I look at Jack and he mouth me "sorry" I nod

"mr and mrs gilinsky, I know it's somehow unbelievable and I can understand how much you're shocked but I just can't walk in streets and try to find a man and introduce him as my son's father" Jack continue "if you believe it or not, Ariel is my son and I'll stand by him until the end" with that we both stand up and I hold Ariel in my arms

"call us if you change your mind" Jack told his parent and we start walking but his dad voice stopped us "Jack"
