"We need to get out of here before the poison gets to us," Grim and Kent instructed everyone.

"This is all my fault," Ruby felt guilty.

"Why on earth would you think that?" Jasper turned to his girlfriend.

"I should have checked to make sure. "

"Ruby, it was an heirloom. There's no way you could have known it was poisoned."

"What I want to know is why my family member passed down a poisonous heirloom."

Everyone exchanged looks.

Kent grabbed his wisher and wished it away. "I'm sorry, Ruby," Kent said looking at the expression on her face.

"It's fine, Wish Granter. We're doing the right thing."

Kent nodded and told them he was meeting Belinda and her children at the cemetery.

He found Belinda with Carter and Carla. "Hi, Uncle Kent."

"Hello. Belinda, are you doing okay?"

"I don't know, are you?" Belinda snapped and then covered her mouth.

"I apologize. "

"Please, no need to apologize. We all have those days. I miss her, too, you know? I've never found that time heals all wounds to be true, or if any comfort for that matter."

"Melody was my best friend, and I have many regrets."

"Melody loved you, and no matter how you treat her, she treated you kindly."

"I just wish I had been kind from the beginning."

"May I give you advice?" Kent asked.

"I'd love that right now."

"Don't dwell on those regrets, Belinda. They will drag you down, but you know what you can reminisce about? All the good times you had with Melody, and how you two did become close again."

Belinda smiled. "You're right. How are those boys of yours?"

"They're taking it rather hard and my grandaughters too."

"I can imagine. I'm sorry I don't reach out much, but I want that to change."

"Me too. Where's Clover?"

"She's away in Ireland visiting old friends, but she's coming in tonight."

"I'm glad you won't be alone too."

"Me too. So do you want to tell me about this scientist thing?"

"I want to find a cure for whatever ailed Melody."

"I'm not surprised. You were always her protector and still are."

"You're not going to try and talk me out of this?"

"No, I know better, but if you need me-"

"I know, and you'll be the first one I call if I need anything," Kent smiled at his old friend.
