Chapter 26

"Would you like me to get you some punch?" Jasper offered Ruby.

"Yes, please."

Jasper turned around and stopped. He looked as if he had seen a ghost.

"Jasp? What is it?"

"V-vampire," Jasper stuttered.

"Not again," Ruby huffed and grabbed garlic.

"Well, we're also going to need silver because he brought a bunch of werewolves with him," Gemma informed her sister.

The werewolves grabbed Jasper and dragged him outside.

Ruby ran after him.

Kent and Treasure ran after them. "Stop!" Kent and Treasure shouted, but they ignored their demands and continued dragging Jasper.

The vampire grabbed Ruby by her neck. He put his lips near her.

Ruby's lips trembled. "Please don't."

"Oh, I like it when you beg," he growled into her ear.

Collin threw his wisher at the werewolf, attacking Jasper and Treasure threw garlic at the vampire that had Ruby.

They dispersed. Ruby and Jasper ran up to Kent, Treasure, and Collin.

"Are you both okay?" Collin asked.

Without thinking what she was doing, she hugged Collin.

"Thank you. Thank you."

Collin gently wrapped his arm around Ruby. "You're okay now," Collin soothed her. He's never seen Ruby that shaken up before. Not even when Tawny lost her memory.

Flower and the girls ran out to them. "Is everyone?" Flower asked them.

The vampire got back up and brought Flower down with him.

"Flower!" Collin screamed and kicked him.

Ruby went to punch him, but fire came shooting out at him. Collin and Ruby shot a lock at each other.

"Use your powers!" Grim shouted at the team.

Grim threw a wand to Jasper and he threw magic at the vampire. It made him weak, but he still wasn't giving up.

Tawny used her telekinis, making him fly into a fence.

Gemma let out a scream and the vampire held his ears. "Make it stop. I can't take it!"

Amethyst and Gemma picked up with their super strength and he was gone.

"All of you meet me in the training room! Now!" Collin demanded.

"Amethyst and Gemma, how long have you known about your powers?"

"We just found out," they said in unison.

Collin explained to them that when Flower stepped down or if something were to happen with him, they'd be the Headmaster and Advisor.

Kent was watching Tawny like a hawk. "Dad?" Collin was concerned.

"Tawny, come here," Kent said.

Tawny walked slowly over to him.

He put a wand in her hand. "Make a wish," Kent directed.

"I wish to banish the dangerous vampires!"

They all disappeared.

"You're a wish granter. Just as I suspected," Kent grinned.

"And you, come here, Ruby. I don't think you just have pyrokinesis."

"Huh?"

"I think you have poison power, too."
