BEEP BEEP !! There that noise was again, Lia thought to herself. She turned it off and rolled over to cozy back up in her pillow fort of solitude. Get up Lia a voice chuckles in her mind and Lia groaned in response. Tira whined and Amelia sat up rubbing her eyes "why'd I even set that alarm it's Saturday." She grumbled out and Tira finally relaxed when she knew Amelia was up for the day.
Food nudged Tira and Lia laughed as she responded, Yes yes food coming right up. As much as she wanted to make it seem like Tira was being an animal, Lia hadn't had a meal since her parents dropped her off there. She winced at the thought of her parents. Instead of worrying about it she headed out of her dorm in search of the thing both her and Tira were craving.
As she walked down the halls a door opened on the other side of the hall from her a couple rooms down and out emerged Josiah Brantons twin. She froze as they made eye contact and Tira whimpered inside her mind. The man looked at her eyes wide frozen to his spot as well "Mate." Was all he said before he advanced towards her. Tira yipped in her mind saying the exact word he had uttered MATE She howled.
A warmth spread across her chest and her body radiated, this feeling was so intense and hit her harshly. The need to be near this strange unfamiliar person, to never leave his side. To learn everything about him and be everything she could be for him was something she'd never knew she could feel. He finally stood before her peering down with beautiful moss green eyes as his hand came up to touch her cheek.
Sparks instantly ignited where he grazed his fingers and she stood motionless captivated by the feelings he was sending down her body. She looked back up into his eyes dazed and a soft growl rose from his chest. He wasn't staring at her anymore, he was looking behind her and she turned to see Josiah having the same dazed expression on his face after their eyes met as a new wave of delicious shocks went down her body fearing her knees would buckle she put a hand on the wall beside her.
He walked over and as he did he uttered the same word Tira had been screaming in her head "Mate" he said barely above a breathy whisper. Suddenly her vision unclouded and she froze. She was standing between two men who made her feel incredible feelings but what was mate suppose to be? She didn't know them, Josiah had been cold to her. She felt a pain for thinking about him like that Our mates go to them Tira whined in Lias head but all she could think was how she was losing control.
Josiah and his brother stared at her in wonder and love, how could they love me, she thought. And as she met their eyes she felt unexpected warmth and caring for them. This was all so fast her thoughts of food long forgotten she backed away from them which earned a growl of disapproval from Josiah as much as it made her want to listen she still backed away and left to her room without another word.
As the door clicked shut and the lock slid home a soft knock came from the other side of her door and even thought it was gentle she jumped back a foot and a half in fear. "Please." A voice begged on the other side, she knew it was one of the brothers but with the voice muffled she couldn't tell which "Please talk to us." The voice continues border line begging. Her wolf whined in her head They won't hurt us, just hear what they have to say Tira pleaded.
Lia sighed hearing her wolf in distress and feeling the distress was not something she liked about this ordeal, but she couldn't ignore the emptiness she felt from being away from those men. Our mates Tira corrected as she waited for Lia to open the door.
And with one final intake of air to calm her nerves she set her face straight and hesitated over the handle "Please angel, open the door for us" a softer voice spoke this time, she could only assume it was the twin who's name she hadn't caught yet. She felt a warmth spread in her chest and she cursed herself out mentally for letting a simple name affect her as it did.
"Okay" she whispered and cracked the door open to peer out into the hallway where she saw the brothers looking expectantly at her but also ashamed, "We shouldn't have crowded you like that" said Josiah his deep voice cautious as he spoke to her "It's a lot to take in and we were so caught up in the moment.." said his twin and he trailed off as he peered down at Amelia.
She nodded and looked back at them and as she looked she could tell small differences that could help tell them apart, Josiah was a inch or so shorter than his brother and while josiah had blue eyes his brother adorned green ones and he had brown hair and his brother did as well but had random black streaks in it. They were very beautiful men standing in front of her.
She chewed her lip in thought as they waited for something, anything. Finally she released her lip and looked at them "I will forgive you, but I have questions, this goes my way or it doesn't go at all, I've had a lot go on over the course of two days and I could use some insight." She finished as it was her turn to wait.
She got a nod from both of the brothers and she sighed opening the door letting them in hoping she wasn't doing something she would later regret.
