It had been a good long while since Lia had woke up screaming in terror from a nightmare, but she was no stranger to bad dreams. This one however, was different. As she sat panting a rapid knock sounded from her door and she hesitated to open it. Fear all over her body had her hair standing on edge and she could feel Tira raise her hackles.
"Who is it?" Lia called out all she got in return was a muffled voice she couldn't make out. She sighed and stood up on shaky legs and walked to the door and opened it slightly to see it was will and Josiah a deep breath escaped her lungs but not before it got caught again. They were shirtless, in nothing but sleep pants and as their bare chests stood before her she once again became weak.
God they're beautiful she thought as her eyes skimmed over them. Will chuckled causing her gaze to return to meet his "angel if you wanted us here you didn't have to scream." He said with a hint of playfulness in his voice. She shook her head but laughed regardless "no, no I had a bad dream... and I was just caught off guard by your lack of attire." She said as she quickly went to shut the door to avoid further embarrassment but she might as well have been pushing on stone.
She looked and saw Josiah's hand holding the door open, not pushing for entry, just keeping it from closing. He raised an eyebrow at her "Are you okay little wolf? That was quite the scream." He asked softly and she met his gaze. She felt a warmth spread across her chest from the caring tone and way he looked at her like he wanted to hold her close and fight away the invisible horrors that have taunted her sleep.
She sighed "I had a really vivid dream, it felt too real, and when I woke up it felt like it was going to actually happen to me. I can't describe it but it felt like a vision more than a dream..." she trailed off and lowered her gaze for fear they might think of her as crazy, but wills fingers hooked under her chin and forced her to meet his gaze. "I wouldn't doubt you for a second my angel. We will look into this in the morning, me and Josiah will go to the principal with this new information, see if visions are linked to your situation. She must know something on this" he finished and she nodded in response.
She knew she could trust the twins, they had been with her every step of the way, searching for answers just as deeply as she was. If this was a vision what could be done. Her thoughts were broken as Josiah cleared his throat "What exactly did you dream about little wolf?" He asked her softly.
She's shook her head in response "Let's discuss it tomorrow please." She begged. Her night had been hard enough as it was but she couldn't bare to recount her dream right now. They both nodded at her and turned to leave but she held a hand out and grabbed wills arm. He looked at her and their eyes locked. A blush crept up her neck as she kept hold of his arm while saying nothing "Angel?" He asked but all she did was tug his arm and he moved towards her.
She walked backwards until she felt the bed behind her and she got on it while pulling him with her. A smile slowly crept onto his lips and she blushed harder at what she might think he wants to happen. "Please stay with me." She asked barely above a whisper and he nodded as he slid the covers down and got into her bed. She turned her attention towards Josiah who instantly smiled.
"Thought you had forgotten about me little wolf." He said and as he neared the bed she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him to let him know it wasn't possible. He sighed against her mouth and whined when she was pulled down by Will as he claimed her lips next before she snuggled in between them and drifted off to sleep.
When Lia woke up she was alone in bed. She sat up quickly and looked around but her mates were nowhere to be seen. She let out a sad huff but only assumed that they were at the principals office as soon as she arrived to get the information that they could regarding her dreams from last night. She admired them for their fervor but wished they would have waited till she was awake to kiss them off.
Where did that come from? She wondered not expecting a response but Tira was ready to offer one it's the mate bond child, you are craving them more, resisting the sealing of the bond will be harder on you as time goes on without it. She spoke softly but Lia got nervous. How long could she withstand not letting them mark her?
The mulled it over in her head. She could go ahead and let them mark her affirming their bond being able to reach them in times of need, she could use that greatly right now, the healing the strength everything could be useful if what her dream showed her was really to come.
Or she could hold off, for whatever reason at this point. No doubt was left in her mind about what she was going to do. If the boys came back and gave her a confirmation of her fears, she would complete the mate bond, but if she had nothing to fear she would want to get to know them more before jumping to the choice of sealing the bond. She had made up her mind. Now all was left to do was wait.
