ACT ONE
scene twenty three
GAME ON PT.2
☆ ☆ ☆"How couldn't it have worked, Georgie? We know the hex worked, we just don't know how she managed to...erm...shed?"
George made an irritated noise.
"Which is exactly why we don't know if it worked. She should've been holed up in her room with orange fur for a week!"Fred gave him a look.
"She looked at you dead in your eyes and mouthed 'game on' I think she figured it out.""Damn her."
Fred moved to stretch his legs out on the Gryffindor couch, flopping his feet over onto George by doing so. Fred found it funny just how worked up Cassie Malfoy could make his brother. He didn't quite understand it, given that George was typically the more rational one between the two of them. He was the more rational one actually, unless it came to Cassie.
"So, what are we going to do?" George asked.
Fred blew a piece of hair away from his forehead.
"We stand our ground. We stay on high alert, and then after a few days if she hasn't done anything we can just assume she was playing with your head. Or that you imagined her saying that.""I hate that plan."
"Of course you do."
George pushed Fred's feet off of his lap. "I hate her." He grumbled.
"I know."
"What if we poison her water supply?" George asked.
Fred blinked.
"You would be poisoning everyone's water supply, mate.""Okay so... what if we..." As George began to think up more maniacal plans, Fred closed his eyes. Maybe he could fit in a nap while George worked himself down from wanting to murder Cassie. It wouldn't be the first time.

Cassie clasped her hands together.
"Alright troops, welcome to the first meeting of operation destroy the Weasley twins."Eliza, Maria, and Beckett all stared at her from the opposite couch.
"When you say destroy..." Maria began in a concerned tone.
"Obviously we cannot murder them-" Cassie began.
"-thank Merlin, I was not ready for that-"
"-we can't MURDER them, but we can finally teach them to leave Slytherin house alone once and for all." Cassie finished.
"And how exactly are we going to do that?" Eliza asked.
"By tearing them down prank by prank, and discouraging them when none of their pranks work on us. Or well, me. They're only after me."
The three of them nodded. Cassie opened her mouth to continue, but Beckett jumped in.
"Do we get code names?"
"Do you need code names?"
"Yes!" Beckett responded.
Cassie held back a laugh. Typically she would be more irritated by Beckett's behavior, but she was on top of the fucking world.
Yes, her normal stressors were still present in her life; Draco, Lucius, her marks in her classes, her reputation. Her abnormal stressors were also still present in her life; the Triwizard Tournament, the extreme flare ups of odd magical happenings when she was upset, and a brewing turf war with the Weasley twins.
