Maybe, it was the beauty of a friendship. Or it was the perfection of having a true friend.

No matter how dark the cloud was while spitting out thunderstorms, or how hard the shake from the earthquake or how strong the wind-blown that managed to make leaves fall from its branches during the fight or argument, the loyalty was rooted tight.

Nothing will change, would be the motto.

Today, it would be Changmin's turn to lower his ego for the sake of his friendship with the pretty boy next to him.

Chanhee was minding his own business, scribbling on his notebook before the class started; his chin lay on his palm, while internally thinking, when will Changmin talk to me? He would've talked to Changmin first. Nonetheless, he couldn't because he had nothing to tell him since the moment they went their separate ways yesterday.

The other boy undoubtedly was taking his time, probably too much. Not because he found it awkward, but he wanted it to be grand; if that was possible.

Glancing over Chanhee a few times to check on him, Changmin then brazenly placed a blue paper in the space between his and Chanhee's book on the table, carefully shoving it toward his friend. Noticing something was coming his way, the pretty boy couldn't help but shift his gaze towards it; he then unknowingly cocking his brows.

"What is this?" Chanhee internally screamed for successfully saying something to his best friend.

"Belle asked me to pass it to you," Changmin pursed his lips while shrugging, watching the latter excitedly unfold the paper and read the content.

Chanhee's eyes lit up, he surely loved parties. No discrimination, even if it was only a toddler's birthday party. But, then, ever so subtly, his eyes squinted as if there was something on the paper that he needed to see better.

Blinking twice, Chanhee then whipped his head around, finding Changmin's face; confusion painted over. He raised the card higher to his friend's eye level, questioning, "Is this your handwriting?"

Changmin nodded, confirming the allegation. "I made it."

"When?"

"Yesterday..." The long-neck boy tilted his head, quite unsure if his answer was what Chanhee wanted to hear. So, he added to strengthen his stance. "At Belle's house."

"At her house?" The corner of Chanhee's lips twitched to form a smile, a pleasant one. But, he held it well not to be formed so that Changmin wouldn't have suspicion on him. He did not plan to let the latter catch him happy over the fact that Changmin was associating with real friends instead of the stranger he just met.

"Do they have classes today?" It was then that Changmin questioned, referring to the rest of his friends while checking the remaining cards he had left in his bag. "Belle asked to pass it to them as well."

At that, Chanhee might be too excited, his body slightly bounced on the chair he seated as if he was electrocuted. Neither did he know which one made him feel overjoyed now. Nonetheless, one thing he was sure about, he was happy that he finally got his friend back.

"We should go to the field together!" He beamed. "Juyeon planned to watch Eric's training. Kevin doesn't have class in the evening. He can join too."

"Okay then... Spam the group chat."

"With pleasure!"

Even from a distance, there was no way one couldn't see the wave of a long arm in the air; it could even be mistaken as a flag pole hadn't the owner been at the bleachers. Contrary to his good look, Juyeon's personality could be tricky to someone who had known him better. He sometimes could be a dork; naturally.
