Ji Changmin's real personality could only be confirmed through a long and thorough checking friendship. That was what Chanhee had said.
And the personality that seemed to be planted inside the pretty boy's and the rest of their friend's head was creepy.
However, despite knowing that too well, suddenly it felt so strange, so scary to see him sitting in silence while doing his job on his laptop, smiling too widely until his deep dimple popped out. It almost seemed like he was doing something illegal that passersby might think that he was a serial killer.
Kevin, who sat across from him at the long table in the cafeteria, couldn't help being curious as well, his one brow raised as he sipped on his cold fresh milk, looking straight at the boy. Juyeon seemed to notice the strange behaviour as well; something he always failed in the first place. But, his nature would just ponder while rubbing his nape. And that left Chanhee as the one who would get frustrated easily by the sudden airy cackle escaped that seemed unnecessary.
So, Chanhee groaned as he ruffled his fluffy hair. "What happened to you? These days your emotions seem too dynamic."
Changmin stopped doing his work, glancing at his furious friend in confusion. "I'm doing my job..."
"What job?" It was Kevin, leaning across the table next. "You're not being a criminal right?"
"What?!"
"Stop arguing," Juyeon joined the conversation. His long arm then reached to the laptop, "Let us see what you are doing."
Ji Changmin obviously had nothing to go against. So, he let them raid his laptop because there would be nothing on it. At least not any weird thing.
It was just only...
"Belle's pictures..." Juyeon exchanged looks with the other two before he shrugged. If it was related to Belle, then it was really nothing weird.
Even from a glance, the three could tell that Changmin was doing enhancement on all the raw photos for the upcoming festival. For, Belle was still his model despite the theme changing.
"You don't have to act too creepily!" Chanhee wrapped Changmin's neck around his hands, softly shaking him.
"When did I?" The boy retaliated, pushing his friend away. "What did I do?"
"You were... smiling like a joker with a dimple," Kevin highlighted, his face scrunched.
Furiously blinking, Changmin then nodded, as the thought in his head came flashing. After hearing all the reasoning, suddenly he imagined himself in their position. Indeed, it's scary, he confirmed.
"Why were you so happy about it?" Chanhee proceeded with a question, sipping on his drink while looking at his best friend drawing up a smile again.
Changmin felt like dreaming. All the events that happened within a short time felt like a dream to him. Even his feelings seemed to be riding a roller coaster at how dynamic it felt. But he could confirm that right now, he was at ease.
Because Arabelle was.
"I'm happy..." He looked at Belle's black and white picture, smiling at the camera. "She seems to get her happy ending."
"Who? Belle?" Juyeon questioned which Changmin nodded while humming. "So, you two are official now?"
At that, Changmin's face dropped and his body flinched. What kind of randomness is this? He thought as his face portrayed feelings. What had made Changmin confused more right now was that both Kevin and Chanhee seemed to anticipate as well; they were intently looking at him.
