Chapter 5: The funeral and her house

A week passed by and it was now lucys funeral. Tim dragged himself off his bed for this day , because he knew that Lucy wouldve wanted him to be there. He got himself ready, wearing the suit that Lucy loved. Tim then went to the living room and met with Angela Wesley and Jack.

A: Wheres Kojo?

T: Oh shoot i forgot about him...

*Tim said, he completely forgot about Kojo as he was so focused on today.

T: Im going to get him

Tim walked back into his room trying to keep the tears running from his eyes as he wanted this day to be over already. He still didnt quite accept that Lucy was gone. Everyone knew that it would take a while for Tim to get better or not even move on at all. Angela watched as her best friend slowly goes into depression from losing someone very very special to him all over again. After a bit Tim went out of the room with Kojo and they left to go to the ceremony.

Tims POV:

Its been 1 week since i last saw her, talked to her, and last held her. I wish things couldve been more different. I wish i was the one who died instead of her. Why her, why did they make her leave me forever. I didnt choose for this to happen for the second time. Why does this keep happening to me?!

3rd Person POV:

Everyone who knew Lucy arrived at the funeral except her parents. Her parents werent the best so one of Lucy's most known wish was for her parents not to be there at her funeral. The funeral was very peaceful, the theme was colorful instead of the darkness as Lucy has always been afraid of the dark due to the trauma from her parents so everyone wanted to make sure that Lucys resting space wouldnt be dark but light. Before burying Lucy everyone was asked if they would like to give a speech and so they did....

Greys speech:

G- As many of you know me I was Lucy's sergeant. She was not just one of my officers but i treated her like my own daughter, as i knew her past was not something to remember. This time i feel very regretful and upset at what i did. I couldve saved her this time but it didnt happen, at least i know that she is safe up in the clouds with Jackson watching over us. Ive known Lucy since she was a rookie here in Mid-Wilshere i watched as she blossomed into one of the best officers i know so far. She was the sunshine of the station and she will be dearly missed by everyone here today. Especially, Tamara, Tim , Angela. I hope her memory will live on forever in our station even if she is no longer here with us.

*Grey said the speech with tears

Tamara's Speech:

Tam: As many of you know me, I was Lucy's puppy and roommate. I remembered that one day when i stole her car and she decided to take me in. It was probably one of the best decisions of my life. *she chuckles* I always knew Tim and Lucy would get together but i never expected it to end like this. I know Celina was suppose to move in with Lucy and i wish this would have never happened. Lucy was like my family after my parents passed and now she also passed, I just lost my last family. This wasnt expected to happen but i know everything happens for a reason and i hope Lucy will be up there looking at us and smiling, hoping to give us the same positivity she once gave us all.

Angela and some others gave their speeches.

A: Tim give your speech

T:Fine...

Tim's Speech:

T: As a lot of you know i used to be Lucy's T.O. (Training Officer). I was first introduced to Lucy as the hotshot rookie who got lucky with her first arrest before clocking in. She was a very beautiful girl, very bright and shining everyone with a smile. Everyday with her was like being in front of the suns sunshine. She was like a sunflower. After a few years of knowing Lucy we started dating. We had an amazing relationship when it all fell down because of my past. I wish i couldve done something more different to change what happened to us. I am very grateful that there was a way for me and Lucy to reconcile during the last hour of her life. I hope she will watch over me and Kojo, Kojo and i miss her very much and we dont know what to do without her. I couldnt stand to lose another love of my life but Lucy i know that your listening to me from there up above, like you said this isnt good bye its just see you later... I Love You Luce

*Tim finished his speech about to cry

Everyone got kind of emotional because of Tims speech. They knew that their relationship was cut short because of issues but the past isnt something people can fix anymore, and they all knew that they just wished that it couldve been different. After the funeral everyone went home while Tim, Angela and Wesley decided to stay a bit longer since Tim wanted to stay with Lucy for a bit more longer. He talked to her for a while promising that he would come back soon. When they left they went to Lucy's house to fix her belongings and sort through them.
