Chapter 9: Accepting

Lucys POV:

I wanted to break down. I needed Tim right now but he doesnt even remember im alive. I decided to call Angela...

Angelas POV:

Its been tough since Tim got in a coma but i pushed through. I was working on a case when Lucy called me i picked up the phone.

3rd Person POV:

Angela picked up the call

L: Ange can you come to the hospital i need you its about Tim...

*Lucy said sniffling her nose* You could tell that she was crying..

A: Sure, Lucy what happened?

*Angela said with worry

L: I cant tell you on the phone i need you here..

A: Ok im on my way ill be there as fast as i can.

*The call ended*

Lucys POV:

These minutes waiting for Angela were torture. I had to comfort my almost 1 and a half baby because she was worried about her father. Her father who thought i was dead because of a dream that changed his reality. I cant help but feel upset and sad, how could this happen and now i only have a month to try and spend time with him remaking all of those memories we made these past few years..

Angelas POV:

I heard Lucys sadness through the call so i told Grey that i was going to go to her and he agreed knowing that it was probably something urgent. I left the station hurriedly driving but not over the speed limit i was still a police officer..

3rd Person POV:

Angela finally arrived at the hospital and rushed to Tims room. She finally found it and saw Lucy crying while holding Lily.

A: Lucy! Are you ok? What did the doctors tell you?

L: Hi Angela, i just lost the love of my life...

A: What do you mean.. Is Tim dead?

L: No of course not but he will be soon...and the worse part is he doesnt remember me being alive or even remembers Lily.

*Lucy said crying*

A: Im so sorry Lucy.. Do you want me to talk to him?

*Lucy nodded knowing that Angela could talk some sense into him*

Angela entered the room.

T: Hi Angela, are you ok i mean after everything that happened. I saw Lucy a while ago but shes dead right?

A: What the heck Tim! She is not dead,she is your wife and the mother of your child! What happened to you..

Tim couldnt comprehend anything she said. He still believed that Lucy was dead.

T: No shes not shes dead.. She died 3 weeks ago..

A: She did not die Tim she is here.. Do you need me to tell you what actually happened?

*Tim nodded wanting to know what happened as he was very confused*

A: It all started out after the breakup, you guys reconciled after a few months and eventually got back together. You guys were the best of lovebirds. You eventually decide to propose 1 year later, then got married the following year. During that year you both found out that you were expecting Lily. 9 Months later your beautiful daughter was born, you guys were having the best time of your lives living as a family. And thats when it happened.. One day while you were on patrol alone you were called to a location, you went in. After searching around you got abducted and tortured for around 12 hours before we were able to find you. You were rushed to the hospital and into surgery. The surgery had some complications thats why they had to put you into a coma. This very coma lasted for almost a year. You missed some important events.. Your daughters first birthday, first wedding anniversary it was a lot.

*Tim started crying feeling bad*

T: Ange, i dont remember any of that, what if i never remember her or even my own daughter...

*He said with tears*

A: Its ok Tim you will remember one day but for now you need to try and rebuild those memories while you still can...

T: What do you mean while i still can?

A: I think its best if Lucy told you that...

Angela left the room

L: How did it go?

A: I think you should talk to him about it, i was able to tell him what happened.. He feels bad Lucy, hes scared that he'll never remember you or Lily.

L: Oh... Can you hold onto Lily while i talk to him?

A: Yeah sure.. Go and talk to him while you still can ok...
