Chapter 8: But you died..

* When Tim woke up he was confused on where he was. There were lights and machines everywhere....

Tims POV:

I just woke up and i looked around to see what it looked to be a hospital room. Im so confused, then i looked to my right to see Lucy and a kid sleeping holding my hand. I get startled, i thought she died. Whose child is that? Why am i in the hospital? I started to panick thinking it was all a dream.

3rd Person POV:

Lucy and Lily were sleeping when all of a sudden Lucy felt someone move. She looks up to see that Tim finally woke up. She got up surprised and filled with joy. Tim looked very distressed and confused.

Lucys POV:

Me and Lily were still asleep when i felt someone move so i looked up to see that Tim was awake. I was filled with happiness, the doctors told me that there would be only a slight chance that Tim would ever wake up. We have been here practically living here everyday just waiting for him to open his eyes. I was a little confused when i saw his face, when he saw me he went pale as if he was looking at me like i was a ghost.

3rd Person POV:

L: TIM! Your finally awake!

T: What do you mean?! Your dead, i must be dreaming.... Thats impossible

As those words came out of Tims mouth Lucy felt saddened and confused as to why he said that. Almost wanting to cry, then Lily suddenly woke up.

Li: Dada!!

T: Lucy who is this?

L: Tim this is our daughter, remember?

Lucys POV:

Im very worried about Tim he said that i was dead and he must be dreaming. I wanted to cry when he didnt even recognise his own daughter... After a while of silence i called the doctors in.

3rd Person POV:

Lucy called the doctors in.

Doc: Oh my. Hello Mr Bradford. Do you know where you are?

T: At a hospital i guess

Doc: Ok, do you remember anything that happened?

T: All i know is that Lucy died after our breakup because of a bomb and there was a funeral and everything. I slept with Kojo then woke up and im now in the hospital...

Doc: Well that is interesting, he may have endured some head trauma that we did not see that may have caused him to think that his dream during his coma was reality.

L: What does that mean Doc?

Doc: I think its best if we talk outside...

Lucy picked up Lily and brought her outside with her to speak with the doctor

L: Doc what does that mean? Will he ever remember us as the reality...

Doc: Im not sure Mrs Bradford but i think there is only a low possibility of that happening as Mr. Bradford was in a coma for almost a year.

L:So.. he may never remember that im still alive and we have a daughter?

*Lucy says on the verge of having a break down

Doc: Im afraid so... We suspect that there was some sort of condition that we weren't able to detect earlier, but it is now untreatable Im sorry Mrs. Bradford, but our estimate is that Mr. Bradford will still have around 1 month left to live...

L: Oh.. um ..thank you doctor for everything that you've done for him.

Doc: No problem Mrs. Bradford, also im very sorry that this happened.. I will leave you alone to have time to process this..

When the doctor left Lucy slid down the hospital wall with Lily still in her hands. She decided to call her best friend Angela and tell her the news...
