••••Mingi came out of his lesson exhausted. He loved his professor and all the material they were going over and yet he was exhausted every time class ended.
He left the class while trying to stuff something into his backpack. When he finally made it and looked up again, he recognized two familiar faces standing in front of the building talking. He had to smile and with his heart beating fast, he tried to leave the building as quickly as possible.
The cool autumn air hit him, but today the sun was shining for the first time in days. The weather was also reflected in Mingi's mood and with a huge smile he walked to the two men. From a distance, Mingi could already see that they were also in a good mood and laughing. He took a deep breath. Even though he and Yunho knew each other better by now, he was incredibly nervous every time he saw him.
"Yunho," he said in a loud voice and the taller of the two turned around. The corners of his mouth went up even higher when he saw Mingi. "Hey, we've been waiting for you." Mingi looked at him, slightly surprised, then at Hongjoong. "We wanted to go out for something to eat, do you want to join us?" Mingi looked at Hongjoong again to make sure it was really okay. Hongjoong just smiled at him and Mingi realized that it was a serious smile. "Yeah, sure," he finally said. He would never have been able to refuse Yunho anything anyway.

A little later, when they were all sitting together at the table, Mingi remembered Wooyoung's words from the morning. He looked at Yunho, who was engrossed in the menu.
"Uhm, so..." he said, clearing his throat. Yunho immediately gave him his full attention and his look alone made Mingi so nervous that he almost forgot what he wanted to say. "Wooyoung, my best friend, is meeting his boyfriend later in the café at our university. And he asked if I wanted to come with you."
Mingi fiddled with his sweater sleeve. Yunho's dark eyes lit up. "Oh yes, I'd love to come with you," he said euphorically. Mingi was about to rejoice, but Yunho's gaze shifted to Hongjoong and his smile faded. "Shit, we were supposed to do something today, weren't we?"
Hongjoong to his right shook his head quickly. "Don't worry, we can postpone it. Go ahead." Yunho looked at him a little sadly and nodded slightly. Then he looked back at Mingi. "Just come with us." Mingi suddenly gushed. He shouldn't really care if Hongjoong was sad, but somehow he was still worried about him. And he wished that they could become friends again.
"No, I'd rather not," Hongjoong said and laughed lightly. "I don't want to disturb your double date." Mingi crossed his arms. "You don't. Wooyoung said that another friend of theirs was coming. It wouldn't just be the four of us anyway." Yunho's expression became more enthusiastic again and he nodded excitedly at Hongjoong. "Yes, please come with us."
He looked at Hongjoong expectantly, but he still didn't seem convinced. "I would be happy if you were there. You can also meet new people. I know that you love things like this," Mingi said. Yunho smiled at him because he knew how convincing Mingi was. Hongjoong finally gave in and nodded. "Okay okay, I'll come with you." Yunho clapped his hands excitedly and Mingi started to grin.

"There you are finally," Wooyoung complained as Mingi entered the café. Yunho appeared behind him and then Hongjoong. Wooyoung walked up to them and took Mingi in his arms. Then he grinned at Yunho and hugged him too. "I'm glad you made it." He said. Finally, he turned to Hongjoong, who was standing close to the door and looking around uncertainly. "And nice that you're here too," Wooyoung said, patting him on the back.
While Yunho and Mingi walked further into the café and sat down at a table, Wooyoung held Hongjoong. "Now that you're here, I want to introduce you to someone." Wooyoung put on his mischievous smile and pulled Hongjoong with him.
