Felix's pov:-

"I will, but on one condition" My voice became awfully prominent in the room. I said in a demanding yet soft tone(If you get what I mean)

"What is it sweetheart. Whatever you want, we'll give it to you.." Dad took a hold of my hand and rested his face on it. It was a very warm gesture, but I felt.. Numb..

"Promise me that the marriage will only be held after my graduation." I looked down.

I was shocked when they suddenly started laughing.. Why though? Did I say something funny?

"Aww my innocent Felix.." Mom said like I was a baby or something. Come on, I'm a grown teenager. Of course I hate being babied around.

"Don't sulk.. We did say you're getting married. But that doesn't mean you're gonna get married this week itself. It's probably after 2 or 3 weeks .. So you still got plenty of time, alright?" As the words slipped my dad's mouth, I felt a sense of relief spread over me... Maybe this isn't that bad after all.

"Wait really?!" I was excited.

"Of course, what did you think of us?"
Mom chuckled.

"Nothing" I laughed at my own stupidity, I should probably set the bad feelings aside and think positive. I mean it's not like I am against the idea of mates, in fact since childhood it was my dream to have a mate, a mate that could love me regardless of my faults and have lots of pups with them and live a very happy life with them by my side. I've wanted a mate that I could love and that mate will love me too. So it wasn't the idea of mates I was against. It was the idea of marrying a total, complete stranger. But if I'm going to be spending my life with them, they're not a stranger right?

I felt at ease than before, maybe everything is going to be alright...

5 days later:-

Today was a big day for Felix, today was his graduation day. He was nervous yet excited.

"Mom, have you seen my shoes!" Felix yelled, not being able to find his fancy pair of shoes.

He was dressed a pure white silk shirt than was tucked inside black dress pants. His blonde hair hung loosely on his shoulders. His black shoes will complete the look, but it was no where to be seen. Felix had turned the house upside down hoping to find it somewhere.

"Oh Felix! Haven't you gotten ready yet!?" His mom yelled back clearly disappointed at her son for taking so long to get ready.

"I have! But I don't see my black shoes anywhere here, have you seen it?" Just as he finished his words, his mom came barging in to his room and there in her hands were Felix's dear shoes. She had this very angry look on her face. Felix for sure knew he was in huge trouble.

He tried to "hehe" the situation but failed miserably.

"Ahh boy!! These were right on the shoe rack, if you had spared one glance at it you wouldn't have wasted so much time!" Jessica totally was so done with her son. This was surely embarrassing for Felix.

"I swear, I looked through it but why didn't I see it?" He wondered as he tried to defend himself.

"Because you're blind, now stop blabbering and get ready. We'll be waiting downstairs." Felix's mom said as she closed the bedroom door.

After slipping into his shoes and admiring his appearance for a while, Felix hurried downstairs.

They all left their house and went to the graduation ceremony. Felix was going to be taking a big step for his life in a few minutes. This is going to be fun, he thought.
