The tension in the room hung heavy, suffocating in its intensity as words lashed out like barbed wire. Ais felt his heart constrict with each syllable, a raw ache pulsing through his chest as emotions bubbled to the surface.

"I—------ YOU! I WISH—---------- MY—-----!" The words tore through the air like a blade, leaving jagged wounds in their wake.

"TAKE—-------!" The retort was sharp, fueled by wounded pride and simmering anger.

"----------YOU TWO!" The plea was drowned out by the storm of emotions raging between siblings.

"Are you—----- now?" The question hung in the air like a bitter lament, the weight of regret heavy on the speaker's shoulders.

"Enough!" The command echoed with finality, a desperate plea for peace amidst the chaos.

"-------- me..." The words were soft, barely a whisper, carrying the weight of a thousand regrets.

"I'm—----." The admission was tinged with sorrow, a plea for understanding in a sea of turmoil.

"I—----you!" The refrain echoed like a mournful dirge, the pain of fractured bonds laid bare.

"No... No... No more... Please! Stop this!" The cry was a desperate plea, a plea for respite from the relentless tide of conflict.

And then, a voice pierced the darkness, gentle yet insistent. "Hey, hey! Wake up!"

Ais blinked back tears, his vision blurry as he gazed upon the red strand hair and the concerned face of his new roommate, his heart heavy with shame and embarrassment.

Sensing the turmoil within Ais, Aze gently probed, "Are you alright? You were crying in your sleep, and I'm not sure what to do... So I, umm..."

Ais hastily wiped away his tears, retreating beneath the safety of his blanket, unwilling to expose his vulnerability to a stranger. He chose silence as his shield, a barrier against the outside world.

Observing Ais's reluctance to open up, Aze quietly exited the room, leaving the ice elemental user to wrestle with his demons in solitude. He closed the door softly behind him, but instead of walking away, he lingered just outside, his ear pressed gently against the wooden frame.

Inside, Ais's muffled sobs became more pronounced, and Aze's chest tightened with each heart-wrenching cry. His own emotions mirrored the pain he heard, a profound sense of helplessness washing over him. He was just a stranger in this warm house, unable to bridge the gap of trust and comfort Ais desperately needed.

Unable to do anything more, Aze leaned his forehead against the door, closing his eyes. For a moment, he allowed himself to feel the weight of the shared sorrow, wishing he could be more than just an outsider looking in.

"What are you doing?"

Suddenly, Halilintar came into his right view. The question shook Aze from his demeanor, and he quickly retreated from the door, startled.

Sensing something was wrong, Halilintar made his way inside Ais's room, giving a glare and side-eye to Aze, who just avoided the eldest's gaze. After the soft click of the door reached his ears, Aze sighed and decided to go downstairs with a heavy heart.

Aze quickly made his way to the table, opening his laptop with a sense of purpose. He needed to finish his report on their Community Helping Service assignment. He felt grateful that Gempa and Taufan had accepted his proposal; otherwise, he would have had to tackle this task at another time after his work on Pulau Rintis. Despite his workload, he was relieved to be able to kill two birds with one stone.
