The morning sun bathed the room in a golden glow, gently nudging Zara awake. She stretched beneath the soft sheets, feeling the warmth seep into her skin. It was a new day, filled with fresh possibilities.

The tension that had once tightened her chest seemed to have melted away. She felt lighter, stronger. Weeks had passed since the bullying incident, and life at the university had started to fall into place.

As she made her way downstairs, the smell of breakfast wafted through the air, accompanied by the soft hum of morning activity. Nancy, as always, was bustling about in the kitchen, preparing tea and toast for Zara.

"Good morning, Madam," Nancy greeted her with a smile. "Sir left early today, but he mentioned he'll be back for dinner."

Zara nodded, taking her seat at the table. Her mind was already swirling with thoughts of the day ahead. She had a test today—one she had been preparing for diligently. The first real challenge of her academic journey since enrolling, and she was determined to succeed.

The breakfast was simple yet fulfilling, the perfect start to what would be a busy day. As Zara finished her tea, she felt a quiet sense of excitement bubbling within her. University had become a place she now enjoyed—a place where she could challenge herself, learn, and grow. The fear and humiliation of the past were starting to fade, replaced by confidence and determination.

At the university, Zara walked through the gates with a sense of belonging. The familiar sights and sounds of students chatting and rushing to their classes filled the air. She had become part of this world now, and the bullying that had once shaken her to the core was nothing more than a distant memory.

Her morning was packed with lectures and the much-anticipated test. Zara sat in her seat, her pen gliding confidently across the paper as she answered question after question. She felt prepared—ready for whatever the exams threw at her. After handing in her test, Zara breathed a sigh of relief, the weight of it finally lifting off her shoulders.

The rest of the day passed in a blur of classes, assignments, and discussions. When the afternoon sun hung low in the sky, Zara made her way to the library—a place where she study for her finals. The quiet, serene atmosphere gave her the peace she needed to study and reflect.

As she settled into a corner of the library, pulling out her books and notes, a voice broke the silence.

"Mind if I sit here?"

Zara looked up to see a girl standing beside her, holding a stack of books in one arm and a shy smile on her face. She had kind eyes, framed by soft curls that fell around her face. Zara nodded, gesturing to the empty seat across from her.

"Of course," Zara said, smiling back.

The girl sat down, arranging her books neatly on the table before looking up at Zara. "I'm Ayesha, by the way. I've seen you around but never had the chance to introduce myself."

"Zara," she replied. "Nice to meet you."

Ayesha's smile widened, and before long, the two of them were chatting easily. Their conversation flowed naturally, touching on everything from classes to favorite books to university life. Ayesha was warm, genuine, and her laughter was infectious. For the first time since joining the university, Zara felt like she had found a true friend—someone who saw her for who she was, beyond the whispers and gossip that had followed her for so long.

As they spoke, Zara found herself relaxing, her walls slowly crumbling. Ayesha shared stories about her family, her love for art, and how she spent most of her weekends painting in the park. Zara, in turn, talked about her love for literature and how she had always dreamed of attending university.
