A boy named Roland moved to Japan with his family from another country many years ago. After an encounter with a man who saved his life from a demon, Roland asked this man to train him, wanting to become a demon slayer.
In the night of Kiyokawa village, the moon was shrouded by thick clouds, casting a gloom over the old library. Inside, the air was still, the only sound being the occasional rustle of old pages.
A sound of paper came around as a man was being held by the neck, his eyes widening with horror as he glanced around the library.

The person that was holding him is a short young man of pale skin complexion, who possessed dark black hair. He wore a dark purple kimono shirt, with a purple obi sash, and black hakama pants. Attached to the back of the obi sash are four close scrolls.
"It's been quite a while since we had a visitor," the demon said, his grip on the man's neck tightening. As he smiled of hunger, the human's choking gasps filled the library, echoing off the tall wooden shelves that held centuries of knowledge.
"And it's been a few days, since we had something to eat," the demon's voice grew deeper, more sinister, as two shadowy figures were behind him, watching, as he leaned in closer, revealing his eyes as they were wide and sharp with light purple irises, with the kanji for Lower Three.

-later, the next day-
Roland finds himself in Kiyokawa village, seeing a lot of people here. "Wow, so this is Kiyokawa village," he thought to himself. He walks around, seeing markets and restaurants.
"So, where do we find this Demon?"
A girl asked, and Roland scanned the area until he spotted two girls, both donning the demon slayer corp uniform. They were both dressed in a thigh-length pleated skirt, rather than the traditional tattsuke-hakama pants, complete with the uniform's belt and knee-high lace-up white boots featuring tan soles, heels, and toes.
The girl with long black hair, her uniform is a purplish colour, wearing a purple scarf, with different purple spots.
