The morning sun streamed through the large windows of the shared house, painting the room in a warm, golden glow. Namjoon sat at the kitchen table, his fingers wrapped around a steaming mug of coffee. The steam curled into the air, swirling like the thoughts in his head as he tried to lose himself in the pages of the book before him. His dark hair, tousled yet artfully framing his sharp features, seemed to catch the light, giving him an ethereal, almost poetic presence. His jawline was strong, his lips slightly pursed in concentration, and the sharp lines of his cheekbones gave him a calm, thoughtful demeanor. The kind of handsomeness that came effortlessly-like he was crafted from the essence of morning tranquility itself.

But no matter how much he tried to immerse himself in his book, the persistent buzzing of his phone kept dragging him back to reality. His phone lay beside him on the table, vibrating furiously, as though it had something urgent to say. Namjoon, ever the patient one, ignored it for as long as he could, glancing occasionally at Jungkook, who sat on the couch nearby, fingers flying over his phone screen.

"I swear, I'm gonna beat this high score today," Jungkook muttered, his eyes laser-focused. "This is it, Hyung, I can feel it."

Namjoon chuckled softly, but his peace was short-lived. The chaos around him seemed to grow louder by the second. In the kitchen, Jin was wearing an apron that read 'World's Best Chef,' a title he took very seriously, as he flipped pancakes with a flourish. Hoseok was rummaging through the fridge, pulling out various ingredients, when-

"Yah! Who left the fridge open last night?" Jin's voice rose in mock annoyance.

"I did not!" Hoseok raised his hands in defense, flashing his signature bright smile, though it didn't stop Jin from narrowing his eyes.

"You're always snacking at midnight," Jin accused, pointing the spatula at Hoseok like it was a weapon.

"Midnight snacks are essential for inspiration!" Hoseok laughed, dodging Jin's playful swat.

Amidst the chaos, Yoongi lay sprawled on the living room couch, dead to the world. Not even the noise of a full house could stir him from his deep slumber, his peaceful expression betraying none of the hectic activity going on around him.

Meanwhile, down the hall, Jimin was at Taehyung's door, knocking gently. "Taehyung-ah, wake up, it's almost noon!"

"Five more minutes..." came the groggy reply from behind the door, followed by the sound of shifting blankets.

Jimin sighed dramatically, pushing the door open just enough to poke his head in. "We've got breakfast ready. Pancakes. You love pancakes."

Before he could say more, Taehyung's arm shot out from under the blankets, grabbing Jimin's wrist and pulling him onto the bed. "Fine, you can stay," Taehyung muttered, still half-asleep, as he wrapped his arm around Jimin, who yelped in surprise.

"Yah, Taehyung! Let me go!" Jimin struggled to escape but soon gave up, laughing as he was trapped in a sleepy hug.

Namjoon couldn't help but smile at the domestic chaos unfolding around him. It was moments like these that made the house feel like a real home-a perfect mess of personalities.

But his phone wouldn't stop buzzing. Finally, with a sigh, Namjoon picked it up and glanced at the screen. Seeing the caller ID, his smile faded. He stood from the table, taking his coffee with him, and retreated to his room to answer the call.

"Namjoon speaking," he said, his voice firm yet calm, slipping back into his role as the team leader.

The voice on the other end was quick, urgent. "Detective Kim, there's been a murder. Midnight Express-high-speed train. It's en route now, and we need you and your team on it before it reaches its destination. The clock is ticking, and there's limited time to find the killer."

Namjoon's brow furrowed, the weight of the situation settling over him like a storm cloud. "We'll be there."

As he hung up, the familiar surge of adrenaline kicked in, his mind already racing ahead to the possibilities. He stepped back into the living room, his team still engaged in their morning antics. But they knew him well-too well. One look at his face, and the mood in the room shifted.

"We've got a case," Namjoon announced, his voice low but commanding. "Murder on the Midnight Express."

The room fell into a tense silence, the lighthearted atmosphere replaced with a sharp focus. Pancakes, gaming, and sleepy antics were forgotten in an instant.

Jungkook sat up straighter. "A murder? On a moving train? That sounds... complicated."

"It gets better," Namjoon continued. "We only have a few hours before the train reaches its final stop, and we need to solve it before then."

Hoseok raised an eyebrow. "A race against time. Sounds like a challenge."

"We'll need everyone on this. No mistakes," Namjoon added, his gaze sweeping over each of them.

"Let's catch a killer," Jimin said, his tone serious but his eyes twinkling with a hint of excitement.

The team was ready. The Midnight Express awaited them, and so did the mystery they had to unravel. The chase was on.

 The chase was on
