Chapter 7: The Resistance

The ship had just exited hyperspace, and was just heading to a large asteroid.

"Why are we landing?" asked Gerald.

"You think we run of fossil fuels?" asked Dr. Bots, "No, this sucker's electrical. And it's here, we're gonna recharge off of the solar flares of a nearby star."

On the outside, the metal flipped over, revealing panels to absorb light.

"There, just a few minutes, and we'll be good," said Dr. Bots.

Just then, a noise was heard outside the ship.

"Is there something out there?" asked Bendy.

"Impossible," said Dr. Cockroach, "Nothing could survive the vacuum of space. Not without life support or oxygen."

"Well, first time for everything," said President Hathaway.

"Mater, do you have lungs?" asked Dr. Bots.

"I think so," said the truck.

"Okay," said Dr. Bots, "I'm going out. Nobody follow me. I don't have any space gear. Whatever you do, do NOT leave this ship."

Dr. Bots then rolled towards a hatch, and a door sealed behind him.

"Airlock, sealed off. Opening hatch, now."

Dr. Bots turned around, looking around. He slowly rolled onto the rocky surface of the asteroid, and looked around. He did a quick scan, and found something: two lifeforms.

"What?"

Just then, a rock was thrown right at him, hitting his body.

"HEY!!!"

Dr. Bots then fired at the thrower, only for it to jump over him, and green blasts to appear. Dr. Bots then flew into the air, only to get pulled down. He turned his head, and midsection around, and fired. The figure pulling him back let go, and ran into the shadows.

"COME BACK HERE, YOU SICK FIENDS!!!!"

Dr. Bots then tracked them down, looking all over. His eye adjusted to the darker caverns, and looked around. Just then, Dr. Bots was pulled into something, and a voice said, "Good catch! Now, we can interrogate him!"

However, a blob landed on the first figure. A blue one.

Dr. Bots turned, and exclaimed, "B.O.B.!?! HOW ARE YOU OUT HERE!?!"

"I don't know," said B.O.B., "But, I do know, that hatch is fun to open and close."

"Wait, is Bendy here with you?"

"Yeah!" said Bendy, pulling Dr. Bots off, "We saw you were in trouble, and came to help you."

Bendy was then blown to bits, and he reformed, saying, "That was rude!"

"WHO ARE YOU!?!"

"WAIT!!" yelled Dr. Bots, "If... you wish to talk, then... just come out, slowly. We will not fight."

"Doc, is that you!?" asked a voice. It was Ruby on the intercom.

"Yes, it's me," said Dr. Bots, "We have encountered life on this asteroid!!"

"We're not native to this rock," said the first figure, stepping out.

It was a blue, rock-like creature with an array of red crystals on its back and front, and a spine protruding from between its yellow ears. Rocky chunks at its sides comprise pincer-like limbs, tipped with red crystals similar to the ones on its back. Its orange crystals, which are tough enough to break diamonds, are the hardened form of its endlessly leaking energy.
