Fates Girl

Introduction:

I live in Kaiho. Kaiho is a world made up of four strikingly different kingdoms each containing different species, lands and animals. 

Laestrygon is the only kingdom in which humans live upon, along with the Amaroks- a half wolf, half man species and the Alkonsts- a half bird, half man species.

This is where I grew up. Where I believed was my home, where I belonged.

The half human/half animal hybrids were known as the Harpees and live peacefully amongst us.

My home was beautiful, ranging from long, dry deserts to large green forests.
The beauty became tarnished during the war. Forests were burnt down, desert cities ceased to exist.

Lemuria is the water Kingdom and was known for its beauty. The kingdoms splendor was also affected, they fought with us.

However being a waterkingdom came to an advantage against the fire elemental king. All underwater cities remained intact and beautiful.

The people living there ranged from two different forms:

The water nymphs- strong, pale blue creatures with startling white eyes. 

Mermaids and mermen settled too on the island, symbolising the beauty of Lemuria. Each mermaid/merman had the ability to represent their personality in their appearance. Their tail colours representing the main personality feature. For example red represented a fiery, strong and determined creature and a dark blue tail symbolising a calm and peaceful man or woman.

Muspelheim was the land of fairytale creatures. Ranging from elves, fairies, goblins and dwarves.

The kingdom was famous for containing mystical animals such as the legendary white unicorn horse which was said to appear only to someone containing no evil. The island was also beautiful, containing large magical forests ruled by mother nature- the queen of Muspelheim and leader.

These three islands lived peacefully amongst each other, despite the different customs, they always agree on something.

However Jotunheim the Air Kingdom differed, the air sprites and dragons living there preferring solitude. Few had seen the kingdom with their own eyes. So little was known about the exquisite land.

Salamander, the ruler, argued against the ways of the East lands and fought against them for ultimate power and control over all of Kaiho.

Of course I had only heard stories. What I believed were mostly myths and legends. No-one knew what Salamander wanted.

The islands had fought for as long as I could remember. I had no idea why I had been burdened by fate to change this.

For some reason fate chose me, I was fates girl.
