*Meanwhile...later that day*

*Over to Treasure*

Jeongwoo raised an eyebrow. "How are you so sure that's her?"

Hyunsuk smirked, tapping his temple. "Well, Sherlock, her picture in the registration form? The upper part of her face at the fan sign matches perfectly with what we saw on the camera. Plus, during the fan sign, she joked about being the leader of undercover agents and said she was a university student with bad attendance. Super suspicious, right?"

Jihoon's jaw dropped. "Wait, she studies at the same college where you're an assistant professor?!"

Hyunsuk nodded, with a dramatic sigh. "Yup, seems like fate decided to mess with me."

Doyoung chimed in, "Well, it adds up. She knows her way around chemicals, doesn't she?"

Jaehyuk rolled his eyes. "Great. So, now we're suspecting someone because they paid attention in chemistry class? And don't forget, she's a Treasure Maker. Why would she do something shady?"

Hyunsuk shrugged. "True, but if you connect the dots—pictures, memories, footage—they all line up."

Asahi suddenly nodded. "I hate to say it, but Hyunsuk Hyung might be onto something. She's sharp, like, undercover agent sharp. Remember the fan sign? She gave me that idea for the maze I'm working on for the upcoming mission."

Jeongwoo snorted. "Right, so she's secretly an agent and your personal muse. Talk about a double life."

Asahi grinned. "Hey, who says I can't appreciate her multitasking?"

"Shall we check the CCTV footage from Lotte Tower?" asked Yoshi, squinting at the screen like he was trying to solve a murder mystery.

"Were her ninja moves captured?" Haruto asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah, but she's like Houdini. I can't figure out where she vanished," Yoshi said, hitting play.

The footage showed a girl—definitely Yongseo—sprinting into the restroom.

"That's our girl from the camera, no doubt," said Junkyu, nodding like a detective who cracked the case.

"But she doesn't come out," Yoshi added, scratching his head, "however, at least we can conclude she is straight."

Yoshi forwarded the footage, but there was no sight of the black hoodie and blue jeans. "She's ghosting the CCTV like it's her ex."

"Let's watch it again," Haruto suggested, like rewatching it would suddenly reveal a hidden portal.

They rewatched. Still nothing. "Unless she's Spiderman, I don't think she climbed down the tower. And there was no rope out the window either," said Junghwan, crossing his arms.

"Yoshi, rewind to 11 a.m. Let's see what went down," Hyunsuk said, channeling his inner detective.

At 11:30 a.m., they saw the same girl—black hoodie, blue jeans, and two bags—head into the restroom.

"Alright, now fast forward after she runs to the restroom," Hyunsuk instructed, his eyes glued to the screen.

Suddenly, Jeongwoo leaned in. "Look! The girl wearing the scarf—she's carrying the same bags the hoodie girl had before! Fashion statement or crime scene?"

"She must've done a quick change so no one would notice her scratched hoodie and obvious getaway," Jihoon said, smirking like he'd cracked the code.

Doyoung leaned back and sighed. "Gotta admit, the afterlook does scream Yongseo."

"Yeah, because changing clothes totally makes you invisible. Good luck next time, Houdini," Junkyu added with a chuckle.

"Okay then, let's do this, let's get her from college tomorrow if she shows up," said Hyunsuk.

"What if she doesn't?" asked Yoshi.

"We are picking up from her place," shrugged Hyunsuk.

"So we are kidnapping," said Haruto.

"She is your age, so we might call it adult-napping," shrugged Junghwan.

"Too bad, she won't be napping," said Jihoon, "we need backups though, she probably knows now who we are."

*The next day*

*Over to Yongseo*

After the lecture, Yongseo exited her college to go home. She also hoped that nearby restaurants or stores were hiring, the hunt was just getting started.

She didn't want to go home because her dad and Raemi would be home and ask why she wasn't at work, she didn't tell her dad or Raemi about her quitting.

They had no clue who Yongseo worked for, she only said that she worked as a business consultant in another city and that's why she was always late or even not coming home.

While walking on the street, she felt someone's presence. She turned her head but saw no one, thinking probably she was hallucinating, she continued her pace.

Yongseo went in and out of many stores and restaurants but none of them were ready to hire. She gave up for the day and started to pace home, she was walking on the street where one barely walked.

She used this street when she had to take a shortcut or run without getting caught, but today she was just going home.

Author's Note

So, Yongseo's week just went from "destroying robot cameras" to "job hunting like a normal person." Guess even assassins need to pay their bills, huh? 😂 Meanwhile, Treasure's detective squad is out here acting like they're starring in their crime drama—Hyunsuk as Sherlock and the others as his chaotic backup crew. 🕵️‍♂️🔍

Also, shout out to "adult-napping" by Junghwan. That's a whole new level of questionable logic. 🤣

Stay tuned and yeah, don't forget to smile!!
