*Later that day*
Yongseo walked into a much fancier company than her previous gig, greeted by a room that screamed "peaceful" with its stark white decor. She saw the rest of the members already seated, Yoshi intensely focused on his laptop like it held the secrets of the universe.
Taking her seat with a dramatic sigh, she looked at the table, avoiding eye contact with her idols. "Hello again, Miss Yongseo," Junkyu said, breaking the silence.
"Hi," Yongseo replied, still staring at the table as if it might suddenly reveal a hidden exit.
Junkyu smirked. "Didn't know you were an agent."
"Yeah, I didn't expect my idols to moonlight as undercover agents either," Yongseo shot back, her tone almost playful.
Jihoon leaned forward. "So, you quit your job?"
Yongseo nodded, "Just yesterday. A little break from the secret agent life."
"Why'd you quit?" Jihoon asked, curiosity piqued.
Yongseo shrugged. "They're holding my $120,000 hostage, claiming it's for training and weapons. Basically, they turned my salary into a 'training debt.'"
Yoshi raised an eyebrow. "That sounds like a total scam. Definitely not in the terms and policies."
Yongseo sighed. "And now I'm here, trying to find a job to pay my bills. Life's just one big plot twist."
Jaehyuk blinked. "But I thought you lived with your family. Why the need for extra cash?"
Yongseo gave a small, wry smile. "Long story. Let's just say my family's not exactly the financial safety net I thought they'd be."
"Let's not dive into personal drama, shall we?" Hyunsuk said, like a teacher trying to keep the class on track.
Jaehyuk nodded vigorously in agreement.
Asahi leaned in. "So, did you know why we were snooping around your company's export decks?"
Yongseo shrugged nonchalantly. "Not really, but I'm guessing it's not for their fabulous furniture."
Yoshi jumped in. "Yang and Lee Associates are exporting drugs along with their furniture."
Yongseo's eyes widened. "Wait, what?! So, you're saying my old employers are not only shady but also drug dealers? Great!"
Jihoon leaned back, smirking. "She already knows. She's just playing along."
"Color me impressed," Yongseo said with a grin.
Hyunsuk nodded. "Since YLA is our rival, we decided they needed to go down. We just didn't have the proof until now. Our scientist Doyoung and I designed the camera you so kindly destroyed."
Doyoung shot a mock-glare at Yongseo. "Thanks for stomping all over two years of my hard work."
Yongseo shrugged. "Hey, the camera was working fine. I'm just a very thorough job seeker."
Hyunsuk took a step closer. "So, we need to know the location of the headquarters and Lee Jungwoon's whereabouts."
Yongseo sighed. "I can give you the headquarters address and their security system details, but as for Mr. Lee? I've only met him once in three years, and I'm pretty sure he's not even in Korea."
Everyone nodded thoughtfully, except for Yoshi, whose keyboard was clicking away furiously.
Yongseo hesitated. "Uh, can I get some water, please?"
