harlow stormed through the hall, deliberately pushing people out of her way. it was only 9am and classes hadn't even started yet, but she was on the warpath and everybody knew to steer clear of her. she made her way to the front entrance where her friend group met every morning, instantly speeding up when she saw them.
she walked to the table, slamming her hands down and ruining the positive vibe everybody had been feeling. chris rolled his eyes and sighed heavily, knowing this was just typical harlow behaviour. he really didn't understand what his brother saw in her - yeah, she was hot, but she was also the most annoying, negative person in the entire school.
she glared at him. '' got a problem, chris?''
''it's too early for your shit, harlow.''
''there wouldn't be any shit if my boyfriend didn't act like a complete and utter dickhead his entire life.''
''nice to see you too, babe.'' he muttered tiredly.
she didn't laugh, just looking around the table. ''can you all, like, go away so i can talk to matt? alone?''
''you go away.'' crew said. ''there's loads of us and only two of you.''
matt frowned. ''don't talk to her like that, crew.''
he just rolled his eyes, turning back to talk with chris. the thing is - the friend group was huge, but it was hard to know who actually liked each other. chris and crew definitely did, and nick and paris were pretty good friends most of the time. matt loved bella like a sister and she loved him the same, but that was it. everybody else seemed to have some anger towards the others.
''come on.'' matt stood up, reaching out for his girlfriend's hand. she didn't take it, just scoffing and walking off. he watched after her for a few moments before looking back at his friend group. ''be right back.''
''why is she mad at you, matt?'' bella asked.
''no idea.''
truthfully, he did have an idea. he had the feeling it was probably something to do with the fact a certain red haired girl was wearing his hoodie yesterday. he had actually completely forgotten his surname was plastered across the back until some kid he barely knew was messaging him on instagram wanting to know if he knew tate was wearing it.
''typical harlow.'' bella smiled lightly. ''good luck, bud.''
he just rolled his eyes with a smile, tapping her on the shoulder twice as he passed her. he walked to the new table harlow was sitting at, her leg shaking angrily as she crossed her arms. he sat next to her, leaning back gently.
