Peaceful Dreams...Well...Kinda.

Storm of Emotions

It's very early in the morning, the Moon could still be seen at the horizon. Somewhere in the Wilderness around Bastion, about 60km away from the Main Castle, there is a Cave, that goes deep inside a mountain, at the end of that Cave in a spacious compartment, the sounds of Chains could be heard, the rustling is clear but subtle. There is a Demonic Creature with a huge body , if someone would try to discribe it, they would say that its about 5 meters tall and has a body that resembles a human, sort off, it has 2 Muscular Arms and legs with a Torso which has Lean muscles cladding it. It has 4 tails that seem to grow out of its Back and 2 that grow from the back of its skull, each about 8 meters long with retractable spikes leading up to the end of each tail, which had a sharp stinger. The Creature has mostly Grey skin, with white Bone like plates that look like armor, which protects the most vital parts of its body and is made out of the same material as the Claws that are sharp and strong. It has a Head that looks like one from a dragon, but strangly human in a way, 2 reptilian Red eyes and a Scar running down the right side of its face, sharp fangs and a tongue that is quite long and is split in half at the end, hidden by a mouth that doesn't close in a straight line, but a crooked one.

Someone might think that it's a Nightmare Creature,  which is imprisoned in the cave, but the Rustling Chains are not there to hold the Creature, instead the Creature is working with them, creating links seemingly out of thin air and making the Chains longer and longer, after some time the Creature let out a sigh that sounded more like a groan, and spoke with a dark and deep voice.

"Dusk is near, I can finnally leave this place again in a couple of hours."

After all, it wasn't a Nightmare Creature, just a Master who's not in control of his Body since his flaw is making him take on the form of a Harrowing Demon from Dawn to Dusk, so the young master is trying to use this time where he hides himself from the gaze of other humans and works on his weapon arsenal.

A couple Hours later, all the way back in Bastion, on the Top floor of the Ivory Tower.

Nephis has woken up from her sleep, she didn't sleep for long since she doesn't need to for days normally, but simply did because she wanted to.

She did her morning routine which consisted of stretching and taking care of her hygiene. She walked over to the Kitchen and frowned as she found her Fridge mostly empty. The fridge was a gift from sunny, who made it with parts of the winter Beast.

She walked over to the Guest room Door and knocked. After some time she opened the door and found Rain who was still asleep. Nephis walked over to Rain and caress her head softly while humming a song for her, ofc it was the mongrel Theme song again, which nephis catched herself humming quite a lot.

Rain slowly moved her arms and Legs and stretched them. Then she opened her eyes and blinked a couple of times before realizing who was sitting beside her on the bed.

"Morning Rain, I hope you had a good sleep." Nephis said with a soft voice.

"Yeah, thank you for letting me sleep here." Rain mumbled still not fully awake.

Nephis looked at the clock on the wall of the Guest Room, then faced Rain and gave her a smile.

"Do you want me to bring you back to Sunnys Café? Maybe we can eat some breakfast there and I can support you while you talk to sunny about your meeting with the young men you met yesterday."

Rain lingered for a second then chuckled and said.

"That sounds wonderful Neph, thank you, I appreciate it."

Neph stood up from the bed and opened the Curtains and window, to let in the morning sun and some fresh Air.

"Good, then get yourself ready, I will wait for you in cassies Office."
