Forging Plans

Waking up Cassie was feeling totally relaxed, something that hasn't happened in years. Sleeping in general was something that had become something very rare too. But as she felt Mordys arms around her she couldn't help but feel like those days had come to an end.

‘I wish I could see his face.’

But instead, all she could do is feel the warmth of his body, his slow and calm breath. She turned a little to get closer to him. She could feel her heartbeat synchronizing with his as she wrapped her arms around him and put her Forehead against his.

‘I could stay like this forever, he feels great. Is this how real love feels like? I wonder if he feels the same.’

Suddenly Mordys body moved a little and he began to remove his arms from her. He stretched his arms and Legs and took a deep breath. His arms wrapped around Cassie again and he gave her a gentle kiss. His voice was calm and still a little sleepy as he spoke.

“Good morning sunshine, I hope you had a good sleep. I know I had, considering I spent the night with the most beautiful women In the World.”

Cassie chuckled and Kissed him. This time it was more intense and it took her a while to finally feel ready to let go of him. Smiling from one ear to another she used his sight so she could look into his eyes. Noticing his troubled smile in the Wall of Mirrors behind her, her own dimmed a little. She put a hand on his Cheek and started to Caress it with her thumb. Her voice sounded a little worried as she asked.

“Are you alright? I hope I haven't done anything to upset you.”

Mordy’s smile widened and he said.

“No you did nothing wrong, there is just ...ahhhh, what you said yesterday right before we fell asleep. It kinda catched me off guard, you know. I haven't heard those words in decades, or at least not with that kinda sincere. It sounded so real and since that moment, I wonder if you really meant it, or if it was just the euphoria from the sex.”

Cassie thought about it, it took her some time to figure out what he meant. She couldn't help but to Chuckle as she finally remembered her words right before she fell asleep.

“OH you mean that I love you?”

Mordy trembled a little as he witnessed her saying those words again but this time out loud ofc. His voice was full of awe as he answered.

“Ye..yes… that's… that's what I meant. How did you mean that exactly?”

Cassie froze for a second, confused about his question.

“What do you mean? I… I meant it like I said. I love you. Is there something wrong with that? Oh god… I'm sorry, was that too soon?”

Mordy shook off his amazement and quickly said.

“No…no no no… I was just surprised that you… that you felt the same way. I thought you just wanted to keep this as a more physical relationship. Just for sex, you know. But I'm glad that you feel the same way I do.”

Cassie's smile suddenly widened. She instantly pressed her lips against his and soon the Room smelled like sex again.

An hour later Mordy was sitting straight up in their bed while Cassie was crawling up in his Lap. Cassie was playing with her Hair, she let out a long sigh and said.

“I wish you could come with me to the Ivory Tower and just live right by my side.”

Mordy, who was meanwhile Caressing her head, sighed too while the corners of His mouth dropped slightly as he answered.

“Yeah, I know, but unfortunately that's impossible. I can't know for sure, but the Chances are High that the Entirety of Bastion and most likely a big radius around is being scanned for my presence. If I ever step a foot near that Castle, I'll be found and hunted down like a rabid dog.”
