Surprise after Surprise

Step... Step... Step...

Rick's steps despite coming from such a enormous body sounded soft and almost unnoticeable. Rain was walking beside him, she was holding one of his fingers because his hands were way to big now. It looked a little comically.

Jet was giving Rick a smile and said.

"I must say, you didn't exaggerated when you said you transform into a Demonic Figure every night. Quite the sight, but I like it, looks cool."

Effie looked at Jet with wide eyes and said.

"You knew? When did he tell you?"

Jet chuckled and patted her on the shoulder.

"I ended up going back to the Cave and as I was looking at the entrance from far away, this guy walked out. And let me tell you, I was as surprised as you are now. We talked for a bit and I promised to keep his secret."

Effie let out a sigh and said.

"Well alright, it's nice to finally know who was behind that immensely strong grip."

Rick chuckled and sat down with his legs crossed. He was still taller then anyone else while sitting, but at least no one would have to hurt their necks while trying to look at his face. After a couple of seconds he spoke.

"I wanna apologize to all of you, for causing such a scene, normally I leave Bastion before sunset, to avoid a situation like this, but today my luck ran out I guess."

Suddenly everyone broke out into laughter, seeing someone with the Body af a Monster but talking like a well Raised young men, has to be one of the most funny things most of them have witnessed in years.

After some time, everyone calmed down once again. Rick was looking at them still very confused.

"Have I said something funny?"

Nephis was the first to answer.

"Kinda, your body is the exact opposite to your demeanor, it's just funny to witness."

Rick began to smile nervously, he put a hand behind his head again.

"I see, I suppose your right. Since I have control over this body and not the Beast, it's indeed a little comical."

Jet chuckled and asked.

"Right, you told me that there was a time when hat wasn't the case. Care to explain a little."

Rick nodded and let out a sigh before he spoke.

"Yeah no problem, my Flaw forces me to transform into a Demonic Figure every Night, but when it happens, my mind gets thrown into the Back seat aswell and I can only watch as a bloodthirsty Beast takes over, which this body belongs to. It took me a lot of time to find a way to control it, but now I'm able to seal the Beast in my soul see. So when I transform, I'm still the one in Control and I don't go on a Rampage."

Everyone nodded while he was explaining. A couple seconds later Jet scoffed and said.

"You were right, I wouldn't wanna have such a flaw, without a way to contain it."

Sunny sighed and said.

"You could've told us earlier, it's not like we all haven't seen things way more Harrowing then your body already, I mean,  I can transform into all kinds of Creatures."

Rick was a little startled and then said.

"Yeah I'm sorry, but in the past people haven't reacted the way you guys did today, so I was trying to keep this form a secret from you all, I woul have never thought that you would accept me."
