Clint's POV
Everyone was still. Tony looked around at us, not moving a muscle. His eyes just darted us down like the speeding bullets Pietro saved me from a year ago. Finally, he dashed out of sight, shooting at Steve mid-air on the way out, and Steve quickly leapt out of the way.
"What the hell was all of that about?" Thor asked.
"This is not what we need right now," Vision said, looking at Steve with fright. "We agreed that the Avengers would not sign up for the Registration Act."
"Yeah...This is just great," Rhodey agreed, sarcastically.
"Steve?" I asked, "You...you alright?"
"No," he said in a raspy voice, a violent-sounding one, even. "B-Bucky?" He asked the Winter Soldier, who stared at us in fear and backed away as Steve reached out a hand to comfort him. "He's gone," I said, "We would never hurt you...I would never hurt you..."
"I just got a text," Rhodey said, "Maximoff's back." Everyone, Bucky included, looked up.
"M-Maximoff?" The Winter Soldier asked.
"He's back?" I asked, excited as could be. "Let's go home. We have to go home!"
"Clint's right, we need to go back to the farm...please, tell me Bucky can come," Steve begged, and I nodded.
"Of course...listen, no funny business, okay? No violence...the farm is a top secret place-more than that, my home. I trust you to follow these rules, okay?" Bucky nodded, allowing Steve to pull him into a hug, and we walked back to the Quinjet worried for the future.
Pietro's POV
When Clint walked through the door, I ran to him as fast as I could and hugged him tightly.
"You're okay," I said, relieved.
"You're back," Clint said, almost in tears, I could tell by his voice. Laura dove into the hug, followed by Wanda, Cooper, and Lila. Nat also stood up, Nathaniel in her arms, and hugged Clint once the embrace broke. Crystal also stood up and walked to my side, smiling and wrapping her arms around my waist wife-ly.
"Clint," I said, "I would like you to meet Crystal."
"It's so nice to meet the rest of the Barton family, Pietro has told me so much about all of you."
"Girlfriend?" Clint guessed, hugging her instead of shaking her hand.
"Umm, yeah. Girlfriend."
"Well, then welcome to the family. Boy, is it a madhouse." Two familiar, unexpected faces came through the door: Steve Rogers, and an old acquaintance.
"You," I said, and Wanda gawked at him beside me.
"Maximoff," he said, looking at us with a similar facial expression. "I...remember. You were Strucker's, right?"
"Now they're Clint's," Rhodey said.
"Bucky? You know the twins?" Steve asked, a bit confused.
"What ever happened to the girl?"
"She's dead," Wanda said simply, and I sighed a little with relief. Having been in Attilan, I never knew if they ever caught and killed the real Deathstone. I am so grateful to be free from the worry that she still lives.
"Oh," the Soldier said, "I'm sorry."
"Don't be. I killed her," Wanda said with a shrug. "She hurt us too many times to let her go. All of us. Even Lila." He nodded, suddenly understandingly.
