I am really sorry for not updating yesterday as i am not feeling well please forgive me.🤧
Ok i want to talk to you all but first you read the chapter i know you are so eager to know who is HIM?
The next morning, I woke up and took a hot shower to clear my mind. Today was my wedding day, and I didn’t want my worries to show. I got dressed in a simple saree because Chachi Ma told me there was a puja I needed to attend. I wasn’t sure why, but I followed her instructions. After the puja, we would perform the bidaai rituals at home. The wedding was happening at a hotel three hours away, and I wouldn’t be able to return here after. So, everyone decided it was best to complete the rituals now before leaving for the wedding. After the ceremony, I’d be going straight to Udaipur, and I knew the day would be exhausting, especially since I was fasting. I wasn’t sure if the groom was fasting too, but that wasn’t something I could focus on right now.
After getting ready in a simple red saree, I slowly made my way downstairs. I paused at the top of the stairs, taking in the scene below. The house was buzzing with activity. Everyone seemed to be moving non-stop.
Chachu was deep in conversation with Pandit Ji, likely discussing the puja preparations. Chachi Ma was busy giving instructions to the workers, ensuring everything was perfect. Arjun Bhai stood to the side, talking to someone over the phone, probably handling last-minute arrangements. Sanaya was also helping Chachi Ma with the preparations, her usual calm demeanor replaced by a sense of urgency. Her parents would be arriving directly at the venue later.
For a moment, I stood there, unnoticed, just observing the chaos before me. It felt surreal, knowing today was the day everything would change.
I looked around the house, my eyes lingering on every corner, every familiar detail. A lump formed in my throat, and before I could stop myself, a sob escaped. How could I not cry when I knew this was my last day here? This house held all the memories of my parents, the only place that still felt like they were with me. Leaving it behind felt like letting go of a piece of them, and the weight of that realization was too much to bear.
