I entered the room and noticed it was decorated with red flowers. The petals were scattered across the floor and bed, giving the place a warm, romantic feel. The room had sofas arranged neatly, and in the corner, there was a staircase leading upstairs.

There were five doors in the room. One led to the bathroom, another to a closet, and a third opened to a grand balcony. The last two doors led to empty rooms. After looking around downstairs, I went up the staircase. Upstairs, I found a big bed with rose petals on it, making the room look cozy and special.

The whole place was decorated with red flowers, their petals scattered across the bed. It looked beautiful, but it only made my nerves worse. There were plush sofas arranged neatly, and in one corner near a big glass window. My stomach fluttered,I wasn't sure what to feel.

The heavy lehenga and jewelry felt suffocating, making it hard to breathe. I wanted to change so badly, but I had no idea where my luggage was. I knew I'd have to wait for my newly wedded husband to arrive.

With that thought in mind, I decided to wait for him on the large balcony I'd seen earlier. I carefully held up my lehenga and made my way downstairs, trying not to trip on the delicate fabric as I moved slowly towards the balcony. The cool air outside might help calm my nerves.

As I opened the balcony door, a rush of fresh air hit my face, instantly refreshing me. I stepped outside, feeling the cool breeze against my skin. The view was breathtaking, with the stars twinkling above and the soft sounds of the night surrounding me. I took a deep breath, trying to calm my racing heart and forget about the heaviness of the lehenga and jewelry. It felt nice to be outside, away from the weight of expectations, even just for a moment.

This feeling, the fresh air, the calm night suddenly took me back to my first date with him. I remembered the way I felt that evening, nervous but excited. The way he made me laugh and how everything seemed so easy, so effortless. The night sky above us felt just like this, clear and full of stars. A quiet smile tugged at my lips as I stood there on the balcony, the memories briefly making me forget the weight of my lehenga and the uncertainty of what was to come.

Flashback:

I was sitting in my cabin, looking after some patients when my phone rang. Automatically, a smile came to my face. I quickly messaged that I would call back after some time because no matter what, patients came first.

After looking after the patients, I finally called back. He picked up on the first ring, almost as if he had been waiting for my call.

"Hi," he said, his voice warm and familiar, instantly putting me at ease.

"Hello," I said, my heart fluttering at the sound of his voice.

"Hume laga aap hume bhul gaye hein" I asked.
