Chapter 5

Justice P.O.V

After dinner I say good bye to them. "Where do I sleep?" I ask. "You can room with me for now" Ellen says. I nod. We talk and talk until there's nothing to talk about. 

Justice remember we have to meet

I know just hold on

I'll see you soon

I hold in a sigh and follow them to her room. "Are you okay?" Dex whispers in my ear. I nod. I sit down on her bed. "We have to go shopping for you" I shake my head. "I don't think so" "Yeah we are and you can't do anything about it." I groan and fall back on the bed.

I like your groan it's sexy

I glare at him. He just chuckles. "Hey do you guys think I can go for a run?" They look at each other. "Sure. Why do you need to go you just got here?" He ask. I sit up and look at them. "I need to clear my mind besides my wolf is being really annoying" They laugh. I stand up about to walk out. He grabs my wrist. ""Don't be long" He whispers. "I'll try." He let's me go. I walk outside. I don't change I just start running out into the night. I climb a tree and jump from tree to tree. Not like a fucking vamp no I can't jump that far only to close ones is where I can jump. I land on the ground.

"Mom?"

"I'm here" I turn around and see her standing there. "Okay I'm here now can you explain to me why?" 

"You know the moon goddess" I nod. "I'm her" Then realization hit's me like a brick. "I'm the moon goddess's daughter?" She nods. No I can't be impossible. "Why did you leave me to raise myself?"

"I died yes and yes I could've came to you any time but it was to dangerous. You memory of that night was too dangerous. So I erased some of your memory."

"The night you died. Who killed you?" She sighs. "You saw who killed me. I know your memory is messed up and you did see who. You just have to remember. I can't tell you at least not now sweetie" I close my eyes. "Many people want you dead. They just don't know who you are and you need to keep it that way. If anyone finds out bad things will happen"

"What bad things?" I open my eyes. "Death. I must go. Remember if you need me just call" Like that she is gone. I run my hands through my hair. Who would kill my mom? Who or what wants me dead? Who would die?

I get angry and punch a tree and it breaks. It falls to it's side. I didn't know I could do that. I don't know a lot of things anymore. I climb a tree and look at the moon. I howl. After a few minutes I jump down and land on my feet. I run back. I walk to Ellen's room. "Hey how was the run? Wait your still in the same clothes why?" I sit down. "I didn't go for a run. Well I did I just didn't change. Can we please drop it" She nods. We just talk about random stuff.

"Favorite color on three 1 2 3! Red" "Blue" We say in unison. We got all of the other stuff right but our favorite colors are total opposite. We laugh anyway. "What do you think of my brother?" I think about it. "He's nice. Scary when he gets mad or pissed. Built. Hot. Very stubborn"

"I am not!" We hear. We look at each other. I walk to the closet and she is right behind me. I open it and he falls out. "What the hell are you doing?" I kneel down to him. "I wasn't eavesdropping that's for sure." He stands up and so do I. "Out!" We point to the door. "Who's alpha here?" I glare at him.

Okay okay fine but you better be there 

I roll my eyes and he leaves. "Can I borrow some pjs?" She nods. She walks to the closet hands me sweats and a tank top. I thank her and walk to the bathroom. I close the door and take a shower. I grab a towel from the cabinet and dry off. I get dressed and walk back out. She goes in next. I knock on the bathroom door. "Yeah!?" She yells from the other side turning on the water. "I'll be right back. I'm going to look around" I wait for an answer "Okay! But use protection!"

"ELLEN!" She laughs. I walk out of the room and look for Dex room. I get pulled into a room and he closes the door. "Hey what the big deal!?" He turns around and it's just Dex. "Dex don't ever do that again!" He smiles. "Don't call me that" I shake my head. "I can call you that if I want" I giggle. Whoa time the fuck out! Giggle? I don't giggle. I never giggle. Weird. "No you can't you have to listen to me" I burst out laughing. "What ever helps you sleep at night" He comes up to me. I have the urge to hug him which is weird. I pull him into a hug. "You give very good hugs" I feel him chuckle against my body.

I pull away and go lay down n his bed. "Your bed is fluffy!" I start to jump on it. "Hey no jumping on the bed! Get down" He demands. "Or what?" He tackles me but I dodge and he falls to the floor. I do a flip on his bed and keep jumping. "You okay?" He nods. I stop and get down. I walk over to him. I hold out my hand and he takes it. I pull him up. "Can I ask you something?" I nod. "Will you go out with me?" I pretend to think about it. "No" He frowns. "Kidding of course I'll go out with you" He smiles. He picks me up and spins me. He sets me down. I go and lay his bed again. "Come on I won't bite" He laughs. He lays next to me and wraps his arms around me. I lay my head on his chest.

"Tell me about yourself" He says looking at me. " There is nothing to say. I mean I don't know anything about my childhood." "What do you mean?" He sounds sad. "I mean that I raised myself. I don't know my parents but I know they're dead. I was on my own since I was about 7 or 8. I never belonged to a pack. The one thing I know is that I had to stay strong and survive. Protect my self and do what I needed to do. That's all I've ever known." I feel him kiss my head. 

"You okay?" I nod. I soon find me falling asleep in his arms.

There's blood everywhere. So many people are dead. What happened? War. There's a war going on and I need to be there. I need to stop it. I start running. Everything feels so far away. I can't reach it. The more I run the further away it is. I can't get to it. I stop and howl the loudest. They all turn to me. I start to run again and it's getting closer.

"EVERYONE STOP!" They look up at me. "We must stop this. There's no need to fight"

"Yes there is! It's you we want you"

"NO! You want my power not me" They start to growl at each other again.  It starts to rain.  "NO!" They can't hear m suddenly I'm like miles away from them. Then I see Dex. "NO!" I start to run again but he's further away. They attack each other. "STOP!"

Someone is shaking me, telling me to wake up. I jolt awake. "Justice" I turn to see Dex. I hug him. I really need a hug.
