"Good morning, what a good idea it is to jump over the wall no?"
I glance at Saransh at the same time he glances at me.
We both are doomed!
Me specially a lot!
"What are you two doing here, while bunking my lecture?" Amina asks glaring at both of us.
"Woh-" "hum-" I share a glance with Saransh as we try to come up with a answer.
"The Watchmen wasn't-"
"We weren't-"
We both say at the same time causing Amina to narrow her eyes at us.
I bend my head down while pressing my lips together.
"I am going to tell the principal about you two- oh look!" she exclaims suddenly looking in a direction.
"Agastya!" She shouts causing me to widen my eyes.
I involuntary shift a little closer to Saransh without looking in Agastya's direction when he haults in the corridor and glances in our direction.
"I am sure Agastya would like to know what you both were doing here while bunking his lecture" Amina says giving us a mocking smile.
"Ma'am, We weren't-" Saransh starts of casually when I sense Agastya coming closer to us.
No body says anything for quite sometime while I feel Agastya's gaze throwing daggers at my head.
"See Agastya what I found two-" Amina starts off with her sweet voice.
"Why were you not present in my lecture?" Agastya cuts Amina off and asks.
"We were late" I reply solemnly without looking at him.
"Oh sure sure" Amina starts laughing as if I made a joke "kids these days bunk lectures and then jump across the wall"
"You know what? I think I should give you a punishment, what do you think Agastya? Don't you want to punish them for bunking your lecture?" Amina questions.
Saransh scoffs loudly at her suggestion while I wonder how do I always find myself in these kind of situations.
"You don't have to worry about that miss Amina, I am sure the students are waiting for you in the class" Agastya replies surprising me.
Isn't he going to give us a punishment?
"But I-" "I will handle it from here" Agastya says calmly and I lift my head slightly with a smile on my face.
Amina fums in anger and glances in our direction before walking away. I smile watching her disappearing figure.
Today I am even more happy that Agastya is my husband, so I get to avoid punishments.
