tell anyone, you know what I am going to do" the nails dig into my face tightening their hold on me.

My hands stop as the moment flashes infront of my eyes. I try not to let those memories overtake my mind as I hurry putting the papers in my bag.

I grab the assignment paper in my hands staring at it causing me to turn my head and look at Aadriti.

She was sleeping infront the bathroom room when I found her curled up against it and put her to sleep.

I hurry my work as quietly as possible without waking her up because I can't face her right now.

Exiting the bedroom I make my way outside getting ready for the university.

The assignment feels heavy in my hands as I keep staring at it until I find the person I was looking for.

"Miss Amina!" I call her out making her turn her head in my direction.

"Yes Agastya" She smiles walking towards me avoiding the students rushing through the corridor.

I hold Aadriti's assignment which she couldn't submit yesterday infront of her causing her to scrunch her eyebrows in confusion.

"Aadriti couldn't submit it yesterday" I explain while she keeps staring at the papers in my hand.

"Are you using your relationship privileges Agastya, sorry this is not how it works" she gives me a mocking smiles refusing to take the papers.

"I am not using any privileges, she couldn't submit the assignment because of me-" I explain when she cuts me off and starts speaking.

"I am not going to accept this assignment just because she is your wife and can get extra favours, the submission date was yesterday and I didn't recieve it by then" She speaks firmly.

"She was going to submit it yesterday only but" I try to justify when she starts shaking her head.

"But she didn't! And now the deadline is over" she shrugs her shoulder before continuing.

I never thought you will come up to me asking favours for your wife, this is not you Agastya!" She looks at me with disappointment.

I avert my eyes looking back at the papers in my hand.

"I had to submit a assignment today, or get zero on the internals"

My mind recalls her words as I get lost in my own thoughts.

"I would have accepted this assignment only if you wouldn't have come here as her husband" She tries to touch my arm when I quickly shift back maintaining distance.

Her hand falls mid air and she continues staring at me with a unknown expression on her face.

"Forget I asked anything" I reply before turning around and walking towards my cabin.
