Continuation of the flashback

He was sitting here before a minute and the next minute he is gone?

I kept the plate on the table with uncertainty and looked around.

Should I ask them? I wondered looking at the table besides me.

"Excuse me, a guy was sitting here a few minutes ago, did you see him?" I asked politely.

They shook their head in denial and went back to their conversation.

I moved towards the elevator pressing the button of our floor on which we were staying.

Stopping infront of his room I knocked but there was no response.

"Agastya! Agastya!" I called out his name but still no response.

Moving back down I asked the receptionist if she could give a call to the room besides mine.

But the ring went unanswered.

Where did he go? And why didn't he tell me he was leaving?

I don't even have his phone number so I can call and ask where is he.

I went back inside my room. Grabbing my backpack and I left for college.

"Oh my god girl!! I couldn't sleep last night! I kept thinking about you all night!" Prachi hugged me tightly when she spotted me in the crowd.

I smiled in response and hugged her back.

"Now give me details! And when I say details I need D-E-T-A-I-L-S okay?!" she said moving back but her smile faltered.

"What happened? Why is your mood so off?" She asked grabbing my shoulders.

"Nothing" I gave her a reassuring smile and shook my head.

"Is it about you family? did they call?" She followed me closely as we walked in the corridor to head towards our class.

"Nahhh" I tsked shaking my head.

I looked up just to lock my eyes with Agastya who was walking towards me.

The smile which was disappeared from my face since the morning returned back.

I smiled at him and raised my hand slightly just as he walked near but my smiled fell down when he walked passed me as if I wasn't standing there.

I followed him with my eyes as he entered class behind me.

I felt someone shaking my shoulder and I came back to reality as Prachi looked at me raising her eyebrow.

"Maths class, we didn't opt for maths so" she shrugged her shoulders.

I nodded my head in daze and walked along with her towards our class.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Prachi asked softly taking a seat besides mine.
