Chapter 1.4 - New Toy

Jimin and So Hyun raced to the hall and sat on the couch giggling. Jimin played the episode and the both watched with full concentration.

Meanwhile in Jungkook's room, he took So Hyun's book and completed his notes and then continued to study hard. An hour later Namjoon came in and interrupted his study session.

" Are you going to learn everything today itself? " He asked while cracking up. " Hyungg! " Jungkook whined.

Namjoon - Okay okay, let's go downstairs?

Jungkook - I'm sleepy!

Namjoon - But dinner?

Jungkook - There's some time for dinner

Namjoon - Oh I almost forgot, I got you something on my way back, it's in my room wait a minute

Saying this he dashes off to his room leaving Jungkook confused.

Jungkook - Uh? Something for me? Hyung is so weird sometimes

He plops himself on his bed, just then Namjoon comes in holding an Iron Man toy

" IS THAT FOR ME? " He asks showing his bambi eyes

" Yes! " Namjoon said chuckling at his behavior. Jungkook's mouth sprang open as Namjoon gave him the toy. " Do you like it? " He asked adoring his little brother's reaction. " I love it hyung! Thank you!! " He said exclaiming with joy.

Namjoon sat beside him and continued reading his book while Jungkook played with his new toy, lying down on Namjoon's lap.

Jin entered his room at dinner time to call them, and saw an adorable scene infront of his eyes. Jungkook was sleeping on Namjoon's lap with a toy in his hands, and Namjoon was engrossed in his book while his other hand was caressing Jungkook's hair. He walked in and told Namjoon to come downstairs for dinner, and then woke Jungkook up.

Jin - Jungkook-ah, wake up bun

Jungkook - Mmh, I'm coming

Jin - Wash up, I'll wait here

Jin waited and soon Jungkook was out. He smiled a little and picked up his Iron Man toy and showed it to his hyung.

Jin - ( chuckle ) What is that bun?

Jungkook - Iron Man! Namjoonie hyung bought it for me while coming back home

Jin - It's very nice right?

Jungkook - Mhm

Jin - Okay let's go?

Jungkook - Okay!!

The duo went downstairs, Jungkook sat beside Taehyung and So Hyun and Jin served everyone dinner. He showed everybody his new toy and everyone chuckled at his innocence. Soon they were all done eating, and Jin sent the twins to their room, and asked So Hyun to give Jungkook his medicine before going to sleep.

Jin - Don't forget

So Hyun - I won't, Good Night

Jin - Good Night

Saying that So Hyun left to her room. Jungkook, as usual was cleaning his table. So Hyun took his medicine from her cupboard and gave it to him with a cup of water. Once he was done, they both went to sleep.

Meanwhile in the living room, Jin wanted to have a discussion with his brothers.

Jin - I got a call from Jungkook's doctor

Namjoon - What did he say hyung?

Jin - It's been 3 weeks since Jungkook has visited, so he called to say that he'd like to meet Jungkook this weekend

Taehyung - 3 WEEKS?

Jin - Hey calm down

Taehyung - Hyung, why hasn't he visited since 3 weeks? And you know about the horrible nightmare he got last week, he can't miss those sessions

Yoongi - Taehyung-ah, you know very well no matter what it is, if it's related to medical, you need to coax Jungkook a lot. And he doesn't listen to anyone but you, you know that too.

Taehyung - ( sigh ) I know... But he can't miss them, what if his condition worsens?

Jimin - Let's not think about all that

Taehyung - Fine, I'll go with him on Saturday

Jimin - He's going with Jake to Jay's house, Samchon had told

Taehyung - I'll convince him somehow, he needs to go to the doctor, before his condition gets worse

Namjoon - Hyung his inhaler broke last week, could you buy a new one on your way back?

Taehyung - I went to Eomma and Appa for 2 weeks, what all has happened?

Hoseok - He was having that nightmare and he couldn't breathe, we tried to give him a few pumps of his inhaler but he was thrashing his hands so much, that the inhaler fell down and broke

Jimin - That one worked for long, it was time for a new one either way

Jin - Okay I'll get one on my way back

Hoseok - Hyung appa had called, he asked you to call him

Jin - I'll do that

Namjoon - Okay then let's go to bed

Jimin - Good Night

Hoseok - Good Night

They all went to their rooms. As soon as Jin came to his room he video called his dad who picked up after a few rings

On the Call

Jin - Hey Appa

Gong Yoo - Hey Jin, how are you?

Jin - I'm doing fine, what about you?

Gong Yoo - I'm fine too, how's Jungkook? Did he take his vaccine?

Jin - Yea, in the afternoon itself

Gong Yoo - Did he take it silently?

Jin - ( sigh ) Since yesterday he was nervous, then Taehyung coaxed him a little and he agreed

Gong Yoo - He didn't get a fever did he?

Jin - No, I checked and his temperature was normal, Just his hand ached

Hee Jin - Seokjin-ah

Jin - Yes Eomma?

Hee Jin - I heard Jungkook's inhaler broke?

Gong Yoo - It broke?

Jin - Yes appa, he was having a really bad panic attack after a nightmare so he got out of breath, I tried giving him a few pumps of his inhaler but he was so out of it he hit my hand and the inhaler just broke

Hee Jin - Ahh, Get him another one then and he's going to counseling this Saturday, make sure he doesn't miss his sessions

Gong Yoo - And get him some Ice Cream or something while coming back

While they were talking, Gong Yoo noticed how silent Jin was, it was unusual.

Gong Yoo - Seokjin-ah... are you sick?

Jin - No, why?

Gong Yoo - Then what's wrong?

Jin - ( sigh ) Eomma, Appa... I miss you

Hee Jin - Aigoo, Seokjin-ah, wait for a few months we'll come

Jin - You've been saying that since months...

Gong Yoo - I promise you, we'll come soon hmm?

Hee Jin - Take care till then, eat well and don't overwork yourself, keep calling us

Jin - I will

Gong Yoo - It must be late there, Go to sleep

Jin - Hmm, Have a good day

Hee Jin - Sleep well and call us if anything hmm?

Jin - Hmm

With that they cut the phone call. Exhausted, Jin washed up and fell asleep as soon as he laid on his bed.
