Chapter 2.4 - Graduation

After an hour Jin woke Jungkook and Yoongi up, and they all had dinner. The next morning, everyone got busy in their own works, Jimin and Taehyung preparing for their graduation speech as class representatives, Jin and Yoongi preparing for their graduation dinner, Namjoon and So Hyun enjoying their time in the backyard reading books, and Hoseok driving Jungkook for his appointment.

After a long drive, they reached the hospital. Hoseok checked with the receptionist, and Jungkook went in.

They had a long discussion, about Jungkook's recent change in behavior. Hae Jung gave Jungkook some tips on how he can get rid of the echoes that keep playing in his ears, and warned him about the consequences of missing his medicine.

After an hour, Jungkook came out and they drove to Jimin and Taehyung's university for their graduation ceremony. When they reached, the others were already waiting for Hoseok and Jungkook. They all walked into the hall as it was going to start soon.

The ceremony started, the school heads gave their speeches and the graduates came on stage to collect their scrolls. Once they were done, the class representatives came on stage to give their speeches. Jimin came on stage and gave his speech, and so did Taehyung. All leaders proud of the two brothers, and their accomplishments.

Once the program came to an end, Jimin and Taehyung's professor came to greet Jin and the others. Jungkook had slept halfway through Taehyung's speech, so Jin was carrying him around.

Prof. Kang - Oh Mr. Seokjin, How have you been doing

Jin - I've been doing well, Kang-Nim

Prof. Kang - Your little brothers, they're the most talented pair I've seen throughout the years of my teaching. From being class representatives to getting the top ranks, truly amazing

Jin - All because of your guidance, we're grateful

Prof. Kang - Are these the little one's?

So Hyun - ( bows ) Hello I'm So Hyun

Prof. Kang - Oh hello there, you look just like Jimin, and that must be your twin

Jin - Yes, he's sleeping

Prof. Kang - Oh, I see

Jin - He had a fever, so due to the medicine he's sleeping

Prof. Kang - Aigoo poor thing, Well I've heard a lot about both of you, I'm a good friend of your homeroom teacher

So Hyun - Ah I see

Jimin - Oh Hyung!

Jin - Come here Jimin-ah! Taehyung-ah!

Namjoon - ( gives flowers ) Congrats on graduating!

Taehyung - Oh Prof. Kang

Prof. Kang - I was telling your brothers about your mischief

So Hyun - He's naughty?

Prof. Kang - Ofcourse!

Taehyung - ( nervous chuckle ) Oh that

Prof. Kang - But I'm very proud of him, he completed his studies a year earlier and is also a pathologist intern, soon to be doctor, and Jimin, he's very well behaved and good at everything he does

Jin - Yes

Prof. Kang - Okay, Congratulations on Graduating, have a great graduation dinner and enjoy

Jimin / Taehyung - ( bow ) Yes Thank You

Jin - Okay should we go back home?

Yoongi - Yes, we'll go to samchon's house, they're waiting for us

Namjoon - And Jungkook?

Jin - He'll wake up till we reach

Hoseok - Okay then lets go

Jin - You keep going, I have something to tell Jimin and Taehyung

Namjoon - I'll take Jungkook

Jin - Sure

They all leave Jin, Jimin and Taehyung to talk and go to the car.

Jin - Jimin-ah, Taehyung-ah, Hyung is really proud of you both. You've worked very hard for this, I know. I'm very happy for you both

Jimin - All this wouldn't be possible without you hyung

Taehyung - Yes, it's all because of your support, we're truly grateful to have a hyung like you

Jimin - Caring for Jungkook who's ill, all of us alone without eomma or appa's help, you're a hero

Jin - ( chuckle, teary eyes ) When did you grow so much?

Jimin - We'll always be your dongsaengs, hyung

Taehyung - Yes, thank you so much for everything hyung, I mean it

Jimin - Me too

Jin - Aigoo look at you both, You're doing well, keep doing well

Jimin - ( chuckle ) Let's go now hm?

Jin - Let's go

They all go to the car and drove to Mr. Lee's house. Jungkook slept throughout showing no signs of waking up soon. Soon they reached and greeted Mr. and Mrs. Lee.

Hang Na - Jimin-ah, Taehyung-ah! Congrats on graduating!

Dong Wook - You've grown up now, so take care and focus more hmm?

Jimin - Yes samchon

Hang Na - I've made some sweet for you, I'll pack it

Dong Wook - Is Jungkook sick?

Jin - I don't know, he's been sleeping ever since the ceremony ended

Dong Wook - I'll take him

Mr. Lee goes to the hall and sits on the couch.

Dong Wook - ( soft ) Jungkook-ah, wake up, wake up now, You can sleep later wake up now

Jungkook - ( mumble ) 5 more minutes

Dong Wook - You have to eat now, so wake up fast

Jungkook - Samchon?

Dong Wook - Hmm?

Jungkook - Where's hyung?

Dong Wook - They're here, do you feel sick?

Jungkook - No, I just want to sleep please

Dong Wook - You can eat, then sleep hmm? Don't you want to congratulate your hyungs on graduating

Jungkook - I do

Dong Wook - Then go

Jungkook drags himself to where Taehyung and Jimin were sitting, and climbed onto Jimin's lap

Jimin - Slept well

Jungkook - Hmm, Congratulations Hyung

Taehyung - Thanks Jungkookie, even you'll be graduating middle school soon

Jungkook - ( sigh ) I know, But hyung your speech was so long I fell asleep

Taehyung - ( chuckle ) I'll make a short on next time

Hang Na - Oh Jungkook-ah you woke up

Jungkook - Yes

Jimin - Gomo we'll get going then, come for dinner

Hang Na - Oh ofcourse I will

Taehyung - Thanks for the sweet!

Hang Na - No worries, tell me if you like it I'll make more, go now
