Chapter 2.0 - What just happened?

Jin sat in the waiting room while waiting for Yoongi, he didn't want to tell anyone yet so kept silent.

Jin - Did my brother just go into surgery? ( sigh ) Why am I alone here... but I don't want anyone to know yet

He couldn't process what was happening, it was 1 in the night and he was at a hospital waiting for his brother to come out of surgery. He broke down in tears, trying his best to suppress his cries, no one was there to console him, and tell him everything would be alright. He cried for a little time, then with all his courage, took his phone out, and called the first person on the list, ' Appa '

Gong Yoo - Hello?

Jin - ( low voice ) Hello?

Gong Yoo - How are you? You didn't even call today

Jin - Yoongi is in... Surgery Room

Gong Yoo - W-What? What surgery?

Jin - Appendectomy

Gong Yoo - ( sigh ) When did the surgery start?

Jin - 30 minutes ago...

Gong Yoo - Seokjin-ah, appa has to leave for work right now, keep giving me updates hmm? Everything will be alright don't worry much uh?

Jin - Hmm, I will

He cut the phone and sent a message to Jimin, Namjoon and Hoseok, and waited for a bit more. Soon the surgeon came out.

Dr. Lee - The surgery went well, he'll be shifted to the same room

Jin - Thank You

Jin went inside and saw a pale Yoongi lying on the white hospital bed, attached to a few wires. He sat beside him and rubbed his palms, little did he know, he was slowly drifting to sleep.

The next morning, at about 6am, when the effect of anesthesia wore off, Yoongi woke up, His hand felt heavy, he looked at his side to see his Hyung sleeping on his palm. His eyes softened and felt bad for him, he was alone there all night with no company, he's human too and must've been tired, so he didn't wake him up. Jin's phone was being spammed with messages, he stretched his hand as far as he could and took Jin's phone from the table.

21 missed calls from Namjoonie
3 missed calls from So Hyunnie
4 missed calls from Jungkookiee

12 missed calls from Hoseokie

' Why have they called so many times... ' He thought to himself. Yoongi was lost in his thoughts while Jin woke up.

Jin - Oh! When did you wake up? Y-You should've woken me up

Yoongi - I'm fine Hyung, Why are they calling so many times?

Jin - Who?

Yoongi - Namjoonie and Hoseokie and others...

Realization struck him, he had fallen asleep without giving them complete information. He felt guilty and quickly called them back, imagining all sorts of of scenes that would've happened. A few rings later Namjoon picked up the phone

On the phone -

Namjoon - Hyung where are you? Is everything okay? Is Hyung okay?

Jin - In our hospital

Namjoon - We're already here, just tell us which room number?

Jin - 107...

End of phone call.

Yoongi looked at Jin, he had just got up from his sleep and was getting stressed.

Yoongi - Hyung... I'm fine, calm down

Jin - How could I just fall asleep like that

Yoongi - I don't expect you to stay up all night either, stop blaming yourself

Jin - They must've been worried... what if they're angry with me

Yoongi - ( sigh ) You think a bit too much Hyung, Calm Down!

Jin took a deep breath and drank some water, he gave some to Yoongi as well. After a few minutes, Namjoon and others came in. The first thing Jungkook did was run to Jin and hug him tightly. The others walked towards Yoongi and stood beside his bed.

Namjoon - H-How did all this happen? Can you explain?

Yoongi - I was having a severe stomachache but I thought I just had a stomach bug, but it kept getting worse. So I told Jin Hyung and we got it checked, ( sigh ) And then this...

Hoseok - Are you comfortable?

Yoongi - I'm okay

Jungkook - Jin Hyung

Jin - Hmm?

Jungkook - You left me and ran

Jin - I'm sorry, Yoongi Hyung is ill so I had to help him

Jungkook looked at Yoongi and lifted his shirt, he touched his bandage while pouting.

Yoongi - What are you looking at Jungkookie?

Jungkook - Does it hurt if I touch here?

Yoongi - No

Jungkook - If I press...?

Yoongi - A little... why?

Jungkook - ( takes hand back ) I won't touch then

Yoongi - ( chuckle ) What's wrong with you

Jungkook - Good Night Hyung

Jin - Sleep, you must be tired

Taehyung - Eomma, did you tell her?

Jin - I already informed them, don't worry

So Hyun - Did it hurt?

Yoongi - I didn't even feel it

Namjoon - ( sigh ) You scared us, I thought you got into an accident

Jin - I sent the message at 2 why were you awake?

Hoseok - Jimin saw your message, he told us

Jungkook - You can talk later go to sleep!

Taehyung - ( sigh ) We feed him too much banana milk don't we?

Jungkook - ( giggle ) A bit too less

Namjoon - When will you get discharged?

Yoongi - Tomorrow

Jin - Let's go home, you just need bed rest

Yoongi - I'll be here Hyung it's fine, you all go home and get some rest

They all left and Taehyung drove home, as soon as Jin got to his room, he closed his door and passed out on his bed. Sleepless nights and stress, he needed a break.
