Turyya was sitting in front of Ryan in the hospital. Ryan had somewhat recovered and looked stable. After a moment of silence, Turyya began to speak.
-- "Look, Ryan, I need to know who was giving Heer the medications and how they were administered. For that, I need your help."
-- "I'll help you in every way I can, Turyya. But before that, can you answer some of my questions?"
-- "If I can, I will answer them."
-- "Why did you abduct and assault Heer, Turyya? She's your legally married wife. Didn't your conscience bother you while treating her like that?"
-- "I don't like anyone asking me such questions, Ryan. But since you kept Heer safe for so long, I can at least answer you. I was just as pained by giving Heer so much suffering. But I had no other choice. Your wedding with Heer was two days away.
I tried everything in those three months to help her remember her past, but in the end, I failed. No matter what I did, she couldn't recall anything. I visited her several times and told her everything, but after a couple of days, she'd forget even my face again.
Desperate, I contacted Ruhi one day and told him everything. Ruhi helped me get Hira back from you. He would secretly provide me with all the information about Heer. I was frantic to stop your wedding with her, but I couldn't show my love to Heer. Every time I mentioned the past, it caused her intense mental pain.
After consulting with a doctor, I was told that nothing could be done without a proper check-up. Through Ruhi, I tried multiple times to convince Heer to stop the wedding, but she refused. I even tried to get her to the doctor, but I couldn't.
In the end, I had no choice but to come up with a plan where Heer herself would break off the wedding. I thought long and hard, and this was the only plan that came to mind. I know Heer well—she would never betray you, so she would call off the wedding on her own.
I know what I did was wrong, but I was willing to do anything to get Heer back. That's why, following our plan, on the day of the college function, when Heer left the house alone, I kidnapped her from the street.
And then, things went as I had planned. Heer decided on her own to call off the wedding with you. Whether it was fate or something else, I don't know. That very morning, you left Dhaka, which gave me another chance to marry Heer.
I believed that if I could bring Hira back to me by any means, I would finally learn what her problem was—and that's exactly what happened."
Turyya stopped speaking for a moment. Ryan's eyes filled with tears. For some reason, he felt deep sympathy for Turyya. He had known Turyya since childhood, as they were the same age. Ryan had no doubt that Heer was the love of Turyya's life. But Ryan himself loved Heer deeply, too, which is why he had become so selfish.
Ryan moved closer, hugged Turyya, and apologized for his selfishness. Turyya didn't hold any more grudges. He knew well why Ryan did what he had done. Today, both of them were guilty of the same crime for the same reason—love.
Ryan began to explain:
-- "The day your uncle and aunt had the car accident with Heera, we only found out two days later because it happened in Chittagong. By the time we arrived, your uncle and aunt had passed away due to severe injuries. Heer was in a coma. Although she regained consciousness after 11 days, she couldn't recognize anyone. Heer had completely lost her memory, like a child. She couldn't remember her parents, nor you.
My parents wanted to inform you about Heer's condition, but I stopped them. I thought fate had given Heer back to me. I was selfish and kept her away from you, Turyya. But believe me, in all these months, Heer couldn't love me even once. The love story I had crafted was the only thing etched in her mind.
