~two years later, Lennon's 25th birthday~

"Happy birthday Love" Addison smiled as I walked into her office, she had to leave for work before i had woken up so i decided to go see her.

"Thank you" i smiled sitting on her desk

"i got you this" she smiled handing me a little black box

I raised an eyebrow and opened the box gently, my eyes widened at the silver locket in it. "Addie its beautiful" i gasped 

"Open it, its kind of cheesy the way i thought about it but"

i opened the locket carefully and in one half was a photo of me the other half a photo of Addison.

"And its cheesy how? i think its cute" i said softly

"i put two pictures so when its closed were kissing" she mumbled

"Addie thats adorable, can you put it on me?"

She smiled and took it from me gently tying it around my neck gently, "It dose look really pretty on you"

"Thank you" i smiled turning around in her arms and kissing her softly.

"I'm glad people finally know about us, it feels good not having to sneak around anymore to try and get to your office in a hospital full of nosey doctors without being seen" i chuckled

"mhm, they really are nosey a couple have seen you and asked me about it i just said your a friend" 

"mhm well, now you can tell them I'm your girlfriend" i smiled softly

"and I'm yours"

I smiled softly and kissed her quickly

"Lemon your cheeky, but happy birthday again" she laughed 

"Thank you Adds, I love you" i smiled letting go of her

"Love you too, have a good day yeah? ill see you tonight and give you your other present" she smiled

"ooh i get another present?" i asked 

"mhm" she hummed

"cant wait, ill see you tonight" i said softly kissing her one more time

"See you tonight Love" she said softly 

as i turned to walk out the room i jumped at the sight of her resident standing in the doorway

"Bailey!" Addison Exclaimed

"Montgomery i need you" She said

"Everything okay?" Addison asked squeezing my hand gently before letting go

"i- not quite, Grey's refusing to push because Derek's not there even though she moved here after he died back in Seattle and i know you two share a dead ex husband but she wont listen to me and your the best this hospital has"

Addison looked at me softly and pulled me into her kissing me gently

"Happy birthday love, ill be home by five promise" 

I smiled softly "Love you Adds" 

"Love you too Lemon" she called as she ran after her boss.

I sighed and went home, i stood in the mirror looking at my outfit but my eyes mainly locked on the locket Addison had given me. i smiled softly as i looked at the tight red dress i had on with a black lacey Gartner around my thigh along with my black heels and hair clips keeping my fluffy short hair off my face even though it was starting to grow out.
