"Nkululeko" I whine, pushing his hand away

"Nkululeko" I whine, pushing his hand away. "Am I not allowed to touch you now?" He teases. "You are, but not here... I just don't want anyone to see us" I sigh. "Why not?" He scowls.

"Cause Nelisiwe can't know about this" She'll hate me. "She'll never find out" He assures. "I have to go" I turn to walk away. "Just like that?" He frowns. "Yes, I don't want to be late for class"

"You won't be late, just one peck" He pulls me back. "One" I mutter under my breath. "One" He murmers, pressing his lips against mine. I giggle onto his lips, aiming to pull away. "One more"

"Mhm" I mumble in response. "That's enough" I pull away, wiping his lips. "Bye" I rush to class, getting there just in time. "You're five minutes away from becoming tardy, Mihlali" Ms Noxolo states as I enter the class.

"I'm sorry ma'am but I had to ask Mr Bhengu about our upcoming Physics exam" I practically lie. "Atleast it's for a good cause" She shrugs. "Speaking of good causes, you wouldn't mind if I were to borrow that book right?"

"Child... You borrowed one last week" She eyes me. "And I finished it, great book by the way..." I add on. "Sit" She orders. "Is that a yes?" I question. "Pending" She dismisses and I smile, settling down on my seat.

"Can we not sit here today?" Dintle argues as we walk towards the garden. "Why not?" We sit at our usual place. "She's avoiding her 'crush' " Nelisiwe giggles. "Why?"

"Something about her stalking and liking posts" Elihle laughs. "Can we not talk about it? It's all in the past" Dintle huffs. "Ohhh.... He's right there!" Nelisiwe teases.

"And he's looking over here too" I turn around. "I promise you, if they come over here, I'm gonna have a fit" Dintle clicks her tongue. "A fit you say, weren't you drooling over Bandile a few hours ago?" Elihle mocks.

"Mxm" She scoffs. "Hello, ladies" A familiar looking person says. "Muntu omdala" He turns to face me. "Oh my days" I mumble under my breath. "You two know each other?" Elihle frowns.

"Yes" "No" "Huh?"

"No... I don't know him" I gritt out. "Yes she does, the only think she doesn't know is manners" He taunts. "Angisho?" (Right?) He nudges me. "Piss off" I roll my eyes at him. "You see?"

"What do you want from us?" I ask. " Since you've already borrowed my friend, I also want to borrow yours" We all raise our eyebrows at him. "Dintle" He adds on. "Oh" We all say in unison.

"You can take her" She doesn't even wait for an answer, girl is already on her feet, walking away with him. "And then they were three" Elihle sighs.

"What did he mean by you borrowing his friend?" Nelisiwe asks. "I don't know" I anxiously bite the inside of my cheek. "O-kay" she drags out.

"What did you tell your nosy friend?" I interrogate him. "Which one?" He calmly replies. "The rude one" I scowl. "Bandile? Nothing" He shrugs. "You better clear things up with him" I state. "I will"

"What is it?" He asks when I look away from him. "Nothing" I lowly say. "Mihlali" He calls out. "I think we should tell Nelisiwe" I respond. "Okay" His lips purse into a straight line.

"It's easy for you to say, she's your sister- she's going to cut me off, Nkululeko! And I don't want that, at all" I rush out. "She won't, I'll make sure she understands and-" I stop him as the bell rings.

"Let me handle this and if it doesn't work out, we'll go with your plan" I suggest. "I don't mind... Now come here" He pulls me closer to him. "Mhm?" I shyly grin. "Let's get out of here"

"No... My brother's picking me up today" They've been taking turns this entire month, something about not wanting to risk anything. "Tell him not to come"

"He's outside as we speak" I pout. "We better not keep him waiting then" He pecks my lips. "he won't mind" I wrap my arms around his neck. "Mhm" He squeezes my behind.

"Okay okay, I have to really go now" I pull away. "I don't like us keeping this a secret" He sighs. "Just a few more days" I whisper, grabbing my bag. "Are we walking together?" He hopefully asks.

"I bunked my last period for you... No, we are not walking together. We have to be discreet, Nkululeko. Zero contact, remember?" I peck his cheek. "It's fine, leave me here, all alone by myself"

"Mxm... Bye" I wave him off, rushing off to the garden. "You're late" Nelisiwe states. "Tell that to Ms Steinberg" We walk out to the parking lot. I look around and notice that Boti Lwande is not here yet.

"We'll see y'all on Monday" Dintle and Elihle walk towards their transport. "Neli" I turn to face her. "Yini?" She pouts. "I-uhm... I need your help with something" I start off. "You don't have to ask me twice"

"Okay, so I have a cousin... And this cousin of mine, he has a friend and his friend has a sister... You know, this is earth and things happen on earth, my cousin and his friend's sister are sort of involved"

"They aren't together, but they're somehow involved with each other and they're kind of keeping it a secret at the moment... They want to tell my cousin's friend but there's both afraid that it'll cause a lot of conflict"

"I nee- he needs advice and I'm not sure of what I should say to him" I finish off. "I think that your cousin should just tell his friend and get it over with, if he really likes her, his friend will have to understand"

"You think so?" I grin. "Yeah, I mean- if he's willing to take a few punches for her, he'll be okay" Dhe shrugs her shoulders. "Okay, take it that you were in the same situation, for instance, would you let any of you brothers date your friend?"

"Oh heck nah, ew... That would actually piss me off"
