Raghuveer's POV

I could hear her screams from the room, and every fiber of my being wanted to rush to her side, but I had to wait. Finally, the doctor called me in. I smiled as I saw her struggling, fighting with all her strength. I went to her side and held her hand tightly.

"Now push hard. Look, your husband is here too," the doctor encouraged.

She dug her nails into my hand and screamed, and in the next second, we heard it—the most beautiful cry. The cry of our baby.

Tears slipped from my eyes before I even realized. It was the best feeling I had ever experienced. I looked at Liebe, my wife, her eyes closed from exhaustion. I leaned down and kissed her forehead, and she gave me a soft, tired smile. A nurse approached us, holding the baby.

"Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Singh, it's a baby girl," she said with a warm smile.

Another tear escaped as I held the tiny world in my hands—our daughter. It was the most incredible moment of my life.

I looked at her tiny pink cheeks, still flushed from crying. Her skin was soft and delicate, her lips a perfect shade of rose. Gently, I took her in my arms and kissed her forehead. She stopped crying almost instantly, as if she knew she was safe. I placed her carefully on Liebe's chest, and she kissed the baby’s forehead too.

Later, I carried our daughter outside, where our family waited with tense faces. As soon as they saw us, they breathed a collective sigh of relief. Everyone rushed toward us, and my mother offered a prayer to God for our baby’s health and well-being.

"Look, baby, I’m your chachu!" Ekansh, my younger brother, said, trying to capture her attention by clapping his hands.

"She’s too small, Ekansh. She can’t even open her eyes properly yet," I said, amused.

Just then, a nurse approached. "Excuse me, we need to take the baby for some checkups." I nodded and handed her over carefully. If Liebe was my heart, then this little one was my heartbeat.

I turned to Ekansh and said, "You all go and decorate the whole mansion and the hospital as well. Make it grand!"

Everyone was there, except for Suman, who couldn’t make it because she had just had her own baby.

I went back to Liebe's room and saw her struggling to reach for water. I quickly handed her the glass.

"How are you feeling?" I asked gently.

"Tired," she replied, her voice weak but filled with warmth.

"Do you know, our daughter is absolutely beautiful? Her eyes are like yours, and the rest… well, she’s a mini version of me," I said proudly.

"Of course she is! She’s your little twin," Liebe teased, a small smile on her lips. I sat beside her, and she rested her head on my chest, both of us enjoying the calm moment.

Suddenly, we heard our baby cry again. The nurse came in and handed her over to Liebe.

"It’s time to feed her," the nurse said softly.

As our daughter latched onto Liebe, she let out a soft moan. "Veer, this is so beautiful," she whispered, her eyes filled with wonder. "This feeling of being a mother… it's indescribable."

Liebe's exhaustion soon overtook her, and she fell asleep against my chest, our baby still in her arms. I carefully buttoned up her dress and laid her gently on the bed. Taking our baby in my arms, I whispered, "So, my little one, it’s time for a nap. Let’s make you comfy."

I walked around the room, rocking her gently until she fell asleep. Once she was settled, I placed her beside her mother and quietly left the room to call Ekansh.
