Mishti's POV:

It’s been seven wonderful years since Ritansh was born, and every day, I feel blessed to have such a beautiful, loving family. Watching him grow has been pure joy, though at times, he can be a handful—just like his father.

"Baby, just eat this one bite for Mumma," I said, gently offering him a spoonful of food. But as usual, my little tornado had other ideas.

"Nooooo!" he shouted, wriggling in his seat before quickly getting up and running off to play with his toy cars.

"Wroom, wroom!" he called out, zooming his cars around the room, his attention far from his half-finished meal.

Just then, I heard the door open. "Mumma, I’m back!" It was Veera, my precious girl, bounding into the living room with her school bag slung over her shoulder. She threw it on the sofa before turning to glance at Ritansh, who suddenly went quiet and started eating again, his cheeks puffed out like a chipmunk. He was afraid of Veera, though she never really scolded him—just a look from her was enough to make him behave.

"Between you and your father, my poor boy is always so scared," I joked, shaking my head as I walked toward the kitchen. There, I found Mohini, our help, already preparing dinner.

"Let me give you a hand, Mohini," I said with a smile, tying my apron and joining her at the counter.

Now, let me fill you in on a little news—Pari, my dear friend, recently got married to Ganesh. They’ve been in love for so long, and I couldn't be happier for them. Ganesh is so caring and devoted, and I know he’ll take good care of her.

Just then, I heard the sound of a car pulling into the driveway. I grabbed a tray of water and walked outside to find my husband, Veer, sitting with Ritansh, who was talking quietly while Veer stroked his hair, listening intently. My heart swelled seeing them like that—Veer was such a doting father.

"Here," I said, offering him the glass of water. Veer smiled warmly and took it, giving me that look he always does—the one that reminds me just how much he loves us.

After dinner, I tucked the kids into bed, kissed them goodnight, and went to our bedroom to change into something more comfortable. When I walked in, I saw Veer sitting on the swing by the window, lost in thought. I made my way over to him, resting my head on his chest as he pulled me onto his lap.

"Are you thinking about Veera?" I asked softly.

"Hmm," he murmured, his voice low.

"She’s still just a little girl. Don’t start worrying about her yet," I teased gently. Veer had been a little emotional lately, ever since one of his business partner’s daughters got married. It made him think of Veera and how one day, she too would leave our home to start a life of her own. The thought weighed heavy on his heart.

"I’m telling you, liebe," he said with a determined tone, using the endearing term he’d picked up during our travels. "I’ll find a groom who’ll live next door to us so she never has to be too far."

I laughed, wrapping my arms around him. "Oh God, Veer, enough! She’s still a little girl." I kissed his cheek, hoping to lighten the mood. He turned and kissed me back, but this time it was deep, intense—filled with all the love and passion we’ve shared over the years.

That night, Veer made sure I felt every ounce of that love, whispering my name as he moved with me, making me moan his over and over again. His touch was gentle yet possessive, reminding me that no matter what life brought our way, we were meant to be together.

As I lay in his arms afterward, my body still tingling from our lovemaking, I thought about how far we’ve come. Our love story wasn’t always easy, but looking back, I wouldn’t change a thing. I’m grateful that our paths collided the way they did, that we found each other in this vast world. Every challenge, every joy, has led us to this moment, and I couldn’t be happier.

This is my love story—one filled with laughter, tenderness, and moments of pure bliss. And I know, as long as we’re together, our story will only grow more beautiful.

And I know, as long as we’re together, our story will only grow more beautiful
