You play for Man City and it's the opening match

Your POV:

Me and Vic both play for Netherlands but different clubs. I play for Man City while she plays for Arsenal. It has been tough because we don't live together but today we're playing them in London and I get to stay to stay over night with Vic. 

Vic's currently out injured with her ACL, so I won't have to face her during the match. I'm a striker and Vic is a midfielder. I smile and go find Vivianne who is on the phone. I smile and get my training kit on and braid my hair.

We get on the bus to go to Emirates stadium. We walk inside and head to the pitch. I smile and I spot Vic. I walk over and smile. "Hey Vic" I said, smiling. "Hi babe, you excited?" asked Vic, smiling. "I am" I said. We share a kiss and then we head inside. 

I pull on my shorts, socks, shin pads, boots and warm up top to go out to warm up. We head back inside and get fully ready. I smile and we head out. I smile and jump. I'm excited for this match because it's always tough to come down to Arsenal. 

We walk out and you can hear the crowd. We go through everything we have too before we kick off. 

At the 8th minute Frida scores to put Arsenal 1-0 up. I sigh and shake my head. We need to do better, we're defending like amateur's. We kick off again and soon I'm in front of the net so I pass to Viv and she taps it in. I smile and hug her. 

"First WSL goal as a City player" I said, smiling. She smiles and hugs me. We kick off again and it's level at half time. 

Taylor steps up when we sit down in the changing room. "We have got to tighten the defence up! They are cutting us open!" said Taylor, shaking his head. We nod and we head back out. I smile and we go through the motions. I get passed the ball at the edge of the box so I decide to shoot. I watch as it goes in. I jump and hug Lauren. "YES!" shouted Lauren. I smile and we get back to it.

Beth comes on and she ends up scoring too. Both teams defends until the final whistle. I sigh and hug Lauren and Chloe. I shake hands with the Arsenal girls. I smile and I find Vic. She walks over and pulls me in for a hug. "Hey, what a goal. Even though I wish we won, I think it was fair" said Vic, smiling. 

"Thanks, babe" I said, kissing her. I head back inside and get changed. I step out and Taylor smiles. "Go, enjoy London with your girl. Recovery tomorrow at 4pm and stuff" said Taylor. I thank him and leave with Vic. 

We go to her apartment and I go get changed into a skirt, a blouse and a pair of heeled boots. I curl my hair and do light make up. I step out and Vic smiles. "You look beautiful" said Vic, smiling. "As do you" I said, smiling. 

We head out for dinner and we enjoy the night considering the day we've had. Once we get home, we lie in bed and I smile. 

"I love you" I said. "I love you too" said Vic, kissing me. We share a kiss before falling asleep.
