A Skydancer From The Past And Her Immortal Master.
The Character in this book is based on the real life Skydancer Yeshe Tsogyal who was the initiate of The Lotus Born Vajra Guru Master Padmasambhava. The Buddha. He was a long haired, wild Yogi Tantric Wizard who danced like a shaman and was a Master of the Immortal arts which he mastered through secret practise. He was a Master of the alchemy called the great treasure or the great perfection. The expansion of heart essence & life force.
He met a female youth who we now know of as The Lotus Born Buddha and Master Yeshe Tsogyal who legend says ran away from a forced marriage to seek enlightenment. Each time she was captured and brought back and eventually was given as a gift by a king to a great Master who had arrived in Tibet, a living Buddha and the one Buddha had prophesied would come after him born from a Lotus and that this Buddha was no different from him. Who knows if these accounts are exactly true but we do know that masters encode stories to preserve lineage traditions and secrets and use esoteric or twilight language in these stories.
Padmasambhava set Yeshe Tsogyal free and she became his initiate. He had many initiates but it was to Tsogyal that he gave a great treasure to practice and to guard for the future. The highly secretive Vajra Kilaya practise. Yeshe Tsogyal was believed to be an incarnation of Saraswati, the Indian River Goddess, herself and emanation of the power or Shakta of Lord Shiva.
They both practised at various times in the same cave. Yeshe Tsogyal almost died during this secret arcane art but managed to survive and become transformed, accomplishing the path and attaining supreme Siddhi powers. After her enlightenment she promised to self replicate emanations of herself into the future perception of Samsara to help empty it and end suffering of all beings.
It was prophesied by the Buddha that Tsogyals emanations would be born in the age of great degeneration. A victorious heroine reborn with no memory of who she truly was. That she would face unsurpassed obstacles and that her task would be almost impossible but that one day he would appear to her to remind her of who she was.
She would appear along with many other returned masters called Bodhisattvas who would face great suffering in this age but that then the Vajra Guru himself would return and the sacred hidden lands he encoded would become open. These are called Beyuls.
The Mahasiddha Yogis were non religious mystical Yogis, Tantric masters of an ancient alchemy of union called Yoga and it's secret art. The Kaya Kalpa.
This Yoga was practised in various cultures under different names by people who did not confine it under the guise of religion or culture and the masters from every culture were the masters of this art.
This is why the great alchemy is called the Philosopher's stone, for those who could see the same message and teachings encoded through different cultures would find the true meaning of the art. Union. Yoga means union.
Union of what?
Of the elements, of the entire mind body reality system. The human cognitive interface.
The mages of Dzogrim, the immortal arts Masters were elemental mages or wizards, master of the science of the sun and the moon.
They understood the nature of this Samsaric realm and encoded it in secret practices. They understood the nature of time because they understood the nature of the mind and the relationship between the mind and the perception of reality.
These are the immortal arts Mystic Masters known as the Lotus Born in each culture. Masters of the flower of life. They, who worship life.

Sengé Dzong, the Lion's Fortress, is the cave complex blessed by the Lotus born Vajra Guru through the practice of Vajrakilaya, the wrathful aspect of Buddha Vajrasattva. Following the Lotus born masters advice, his initiate Khandro Yeshé Tsogyal took Sengé Dzong as her main retreat hermitage. She endured great hardships there including coming close to death before attaining mastery. She was known as "The Skydancer". This is the story commonly known among the tantric wizards, but there is another far older story. From a prehistoric lineage of Sky masters and the first Buddha who appeared long before these modern tales. He was born in a land identical with the description of Shambala. Or Xian bala. From a place called Tazik he came to the then immense civilization of Zhang Zhung who's holy mountain Kailash was at the centre of the Zhang Zhung kingdom. He is identical to the commonly known Buddha but appeared long before Buddhism was said to be bought from India. It was already in Tibet. He came to teach the secret wisdom of the path of the Sky, the same Path Buddha Padmasambhava that Lotus Born Vajra guru taught to the Skydancer Yeshe Tsogyal. He vowed to appear to her in a future time when she had lost her memory and remind her who she had been and that she was to teach the original path of the sky. A universal Yoga once known in all cultures under various guises which had fallen into limitation, stinginess, secrecy and spiritual conceitedness. For the Sky is free he said and pristine wisdom arising is the treasure within all, unbound, expansive, without limitation, it has its own teacher the Guru within, the deathless one.
The Buddha and Sky master who came into Zhang Zhung was known then as Buddha Tönpa Shenrab Miwoche. It is said that a manifestation of the Skydancer did return to the age of ignorance and when the student was ready, the Sky master appeared. Who knows if these things are true? I am just an old fool who knows nothing.
