Over the past few days, Midoriya could be seen spacing out and staring into the abyss more often than usual. Her classmates and even teachers were worried for her, and constantly asked her if something was wrong. In the end, they got countless assurances that she was fine, that she'd be okay and that she only had a small issue.

However, the issue was nowhere near small. It was a large issue. And it all had to do with the blue haired boy known as Inei Namikaze. He was anything but normal, not only did it seem like he could do everything, but everything he did was seamlessly perfect. His quirk was incredibly unique, and nobody could understand what it actually was. Or at least, nobody except Midoriya understood it. Well, only partly, but she knew the gist of it.

Inei had not one, but two quirks. She had never heard of anyone having two quirks, almost everyone had one, some had none, but two was unheard of. Scientists had judged that it was impossible for anyone to have two quirks. Maybe the quirk had a lot of versatility and could do many different things, but no one outright had two of them.

Or at least, nobody except Inei Namikaze.

And the worst of it all was that Inei having two quirks wasn't the most confusing part.

Midoriya recalled the talk she had with Inei that day...

" I have two quirks, Midoriya."
"B-But how? That's... not possible!"
"I don't understand it either, to be honest with you. My "first" quirk is called Rewind. [1] That's how I "heal" myself. And that's how I healed you, that day. I rewind the state of your body to what it was before you got injured. Costs a lot of energy as a trade off. And as for my other quirk... I don't know anything about it. It....." Inei went silent for a bit. Eventually, he sighed before speaking up again,
"I'm sorry, but I can't tell you anything else about it. Oh and, please don't tell anyone else about this, alright? I won't tell anyone about One for All, either."
"...Alright."

Overall, the boy was a mystery. One that Midoriya couldn't get out of her head. She was honestly thankful that UA had a surprise planned for the students, that way she could distract herself with something. That was all her classmates talked about, each of them trying to guess what it could be.

However, even before this surprise event came up, she had another encounter with Inei. This time, in All Might's office.

"What's going on here?" she asked as soon as she entered the room, seeing Inei sitting on a chair. All Might gestured for her to sit down, so she did.
After she had sat down, All Might began.
"So... Young Namikaze over here... You told him about One For All."
Izumi hung her head in shame, but then Inei spoke up.
"That's not her fault. My suspicions were confirmed only after I kept seeing you call her into your office every other day. Sure, Midoriya's quirk has some resemblance to yours, but nobody would have suspected anything if it wasn't for your own stupid decisions. Blame yourself, not her."
Izumi and All Might both gaped at Inei. This was Inei's first time directly talking to the man, and unlike most, who would fanboy over him, this boy berated him. He scolded the greatest hero of all time.
Inei, seemingly unbothered by their shock, continued.
"Other students might suspect things too. Not to mention the constant bickering of that Bakugo, yelling about how she hid her quirk for him, and all that. You should be more careful for a change. You're a great hero, yes, but you're not a great mentor at all."
Both Midoriya and All Might were bewildered by the actions of the bluenet. Inei, as always, ignored the looks he got from them, and got up.
"There's nothing else that needs to be said. Make it less obvious, be more discreet, and nobody else should find out. Good day to you both."
With that, Inei went away.
