Accident

Pov : Lily

I woke up at 6 a.m feeling fresh and happy.
Today my parents will be back and I'll go to London again after 4 days.

I called my mom to ask if they're at the airport yet .

Mom - "Hey you up so early ?"
Me   - "yeah I just wanted to ask if you're at the airport yet "
Mom  - "yes honey we are , and we'll be taking off after half an hour ."
Me.  - "okay mum stay safe I'll go and get freshen up now "
Mom. - "sure honey "

With that I hung up the call. Yay I'm so happy my parents will finally be here after a long week .

Their flight is 6 hours they'll be really tired after getting here .

I went to the bathroom humming to music while I brushed my teeth .
I got a call from Louis

Louis : "I'm leaving to Canada for 2 days"
Me.    : "oh and why ?"
Louis : "Meetings . And your parents are coming today right ! "
Me.    : "Yupp they're coming today "
Louis.  : "okay good , take care of yourself while I'm not here "
Me    :  "okayyyy"
Louis. : "Bye , I love you princess"
Me.   : " Byie , love you too "

Huff....Louis is leaving for 2 days.
All this time has been so memorable with him.

At 1:20 p.m

I switched on the tv and a news came up.
"Flight 202 of Delta Airlines got into a crash , only 3 people in the plane survived and are severely injured ."

My heart felt like it stopped beating for a moment .
Are my parents okay..?
I didn't ask them about the name of their airline...

I tried calling on my parents phone but it said their phone was switched off.

My heart is beating so fast , I feel so scared right now.

I hope my parents are safe.

After 2 hours

I'm still trying to call my parents but both their phones are still switched off.

I heard the doorbell ring. I went to the door and saw some officers standing.

"Yes..?" I asked looking at them confused.
"Mam , are you Lily Collins? "
"Um , yes do you need any help?" I asked
"Mam , actually we need to tell you something"

What is it..?

"What is it sir ?"
"Ms Collins , I think you need to have a seat first"
Huh..okay
I took the officers inside the house with me and we all sat down on the couch.

"So..Ms Collins , did you hear about the plane crash news today?"
N..noo..please don't say this.

"Um..yes I saw the news on tv.."
"Miss...do you know about these things ?"

And they showed me a purse , a mobile phone and a gift wrapped box inside the purse.

"Th-this is..my mom's phone..wh-where is she officer..?"

"Miss Collins we are really sorry to say but , this purse and a suitcase was the only thing we found at the site of accident . And , your parents' body couldn't be identified , the suitcase had name of a man and this address. "

"..n-no sir , I think you got a wrong address I think my parents are safe.."
I didn't realise tears were rolling down my cheeks

"Miss...we found this gift box inside the suitcase , and it says *to our daughter Lily* and you are Lily Collins right ?"
