It's been 3 days since I haven't talked with Louis
I'm all broken right now , Louis had been calling and texting me a lot , but I didn't reply to any of his messages nor did I answer his calls .
Louis's father wants him to marry Emily , and I can't interfere in his parents' choice.
For them , I'm just their son's childhood friend whose parents died in a plane crash. Nothing else.
*Phone ringing*
I thought it was Louis again , but it was my aunt.
I answered the call
"Hi aunt Georgia , how are you ?"
"Hi honey , I'm good and how are you now , everything's going good ?"
"Yep auntie. How come you called me ?"
"I wanted to talk to you about something dear "
"Yes , what is it ?"
"Lily , I know this had to be done by your parents , but , I've found a guy for you , to get married.."
"Uh , auntie but-"
"Sweety , I know marriage is a life long decision. And this guy , he is a good man , how long will you be alone."
"I'll , I'll think about it , I need some time auntie , I haven't thought about getting married yet."
"Oh , sure Lily , take your time and tell me once you're ready for this okay ?"
"Sure , I will."
*Call hung *
No, my auntie wants me to get married now , I need to talk with Louis..
I called Louis , but he didn't answer , maybe he's busy.
After some time , Louis called me back.
"Hey , Lily.." his voice sounded very sad.
"Uh..hey.."
"You called me ?"
"Yes , I need to talk about something , are you busy , where are you ?"
"I'm at home , and no I ain't busy today."
"Can you come over to my home please , I need to talk.?"
"Okay I'll be there in five mins."
After some time I heard the door bell ring , I went to open the door , and there he was , my Louis , his face looked pale , like he hasn't been eating properly , and I know the reason..
"Come in.." I said
We both sat down on the chairs.
"How's everything going...?" I asked him in a low voice..
"..do you think anything would be going good without you..?"
I just wanted to hug him so tight right now.
"Louis , what do you think , about marrying her , Emily.. both of us know she just needs your money..and your father wants her as your wife .."
"I don't wanna marry her Lily..I think we shall run away.."
"OMG. Louis no!! We can't just run away to marry."
"Then what can we do..?"
"You know , my aunt called me today , she has been seeing guys for my marriage....I told her that I am not ready for this yet , I asked her for some time , she sent me pictures of some guys.... She wants me to get married ."
"You know Lily , I told my mom about you , last night , she said she was about to ask me if I liked you , because she saw a perfect wife for me in you. But my dad , he already fixed the marriage with Emily , he already talked with her father."
