The soft flicker of candles illuminated the dim room, casting dancing shadows across the walls. You found yourself in the Titans' common area, drawn to the serene presence of Raven as she meditated in a corner. Her dark hair framed her face, and her usual stoic expression held a tranquility that intrigued you.

"Hey, Raven." you said softly, not wanting to interrupt her peace.

She opened her eyes, the violet depths meeting yours. "Hello. I didn’t expect anyone to be here."

"I was hoping to spend some time with you." you replied, taking a seat across from her. "Mind if I join?"

She regarded you for a moment before nodding. "You can stay, but I cannot promise to be entertaining."

You smiled, appreciating her honesty. "Just being with you is enough."

Raven’s lips quirked slightly, a hint of a smile breaking through her usual facade. "Very well. We can share the silence."

As you sat together, you felt a calmness envelop you, the world outside fading away. The flickering candles created a warm atmosphere, and you appreciated the stillness that filled the space.

After a while, you broke the silence. "What do you usually think about when you meditate?"

Raven paused, considering her response. "I focus on controlling my emotions. It helps keep my powers in check."

You nodded, feeling a sense of admiration for her discipline. "That sounds difficult. Do you ever find it hard to balance everything?"

"Sometimes." she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper. "But I have learned that it’s okay to let some emotions in. They remind me I’m alive."

You shifted closer, encouraged by her openness. "I think it’s great that you’re learning to embrace that. You don’t always have to be strong."

Raven met your gaze, her expression softening. "It’s rare to find someone who understands."

Your heart raced at her words, and you took a leap of faith. "I want to be here for you, Raven. You don’t have to face everything alone."

She looked down, contemplating your offer. After a moment, she reached out, her fingers brushing against yours. The simple touch sent a jolt through you, and you felt a surge of warmth.

"Thank you." she said softly, her violet eyes meeting yours once more. "That means more to me than you know."

Encouraged, you leaned in closer, closing the distance between you. "Can I show you how much you mean to me?"

Raven nodded, her gaze steady, and you leaned in to press your lips against hers. The kiss was gentle at first, a spark igniting as you felt her tension melt away. You lost yourself in the moment, savoring the connection between you.

When you finally pulled away, her cheeks were slightly flushed, and a genuine smile graced her lips. "That was… unexpected."

"Good unexpected, I hope?" you asked, grinning.

"Yes." she replied, a hint of playfulness returning to her demeanor. "I think I could get used to this."

As you both sat in the flickering candlelight, hand in hand, you knew this was just the beginning of a beautiful journey with Raven— one filled with understanding, warmth, and the promise of love.
