The car ride was quiet and uncomfortable. Arohi tried to listen to Ahvi's talking, but she felt something was wrong.

She looked up and saw Naksh staring at her in the mirror.

His eyes were angry and intense, making her heart skip a beat.

Arohi felt scared and tried to look away, but Naksh's gaze kept her trapped.

She could feel his anger making the air feel heavy. Ahvi kept talking, but Arohi's answers were short and nervous.

Arohi didn't know why Naksh was still so angry or what he would do.

The silence between them was uncomfortable, with only Ahvi's talking breaking the silence. Arohi was waiting for something to happen, but Naksh kept staring at her with an intense gaze.

Ahvi suddenly turned to Arohi and asked, "Arohi Mam, will you come regularly or alternatively?"

Arohi smiled and replied, "I'll come regularly, Ahvi."

Naksh, who had been quietly observing the exchange, suddenly showed interest. As Ahvi's chachu and guardian, he had a responsibility towards her too.

"Regularly?" Naksh repeated, his eyes narrowing slightly as he looked at Arohi in the mirror.

"That's good. I'm sure Ahvi will benefit from your regular visits."

Arohi felt a hint of unease at Naksh's tone, but Ahvi just nodded enthusiastically.

"Yes, Chachu! Arohi Mam is the best!"

Naksh's gaze lingered on Arohi for a moment before he looked away, his expression unreadable.

Arohi wondered what he was thinking, but Ahvi's chatter soon filled the silence, and the conversation moved on.

Naksh's eyes met Arohi's in the mirror again, his gaze piercing.

"Arohi, were you the one who gave Ahvi chocolate yesterday?" he asked, his tone neutral, but with a hint of underlying tension.

Arohi's heart skipped a beat as she hesitated for a moment before responding.

"Yes, I did," she replied, her voice calm, but her mind racing with thoughts of why Naksh was asking.

Ahvi chimed in,

"Yeah, Chachu! Arohi Mam gave me a chocolate bar! It was so yummy!"

Naksh's expression remained unreadable, but Arohi sensed a subtle tightening of his jaw.

"I see," he said, his voice dripping with an unspoken meaning.

"Well, Ahvi, maybe next time you should ask me before taking anything from anyone."

Arohi felt a surge of defensiveness, but Ahvi just nodded innocently.
"Okay, Chachu!"

As they continued talking, the car soon pulled up to a grand mansion, leaving Arohi speechless.

"Wow, what a mansion!" she thought to herself.

But her awe was quickly replaced by apprehension.

"Kya yeh thik hoga mere liye?" (Will this be okay for me?) she wondered.

She had already gotten into trouble with Naksh, and now she was entering his home, a place where he held all the power.

Arohi's mind raced with doubts.

"Already pange leh rakhe hai meine inse" (I've already gotten into trouble with them).
